"Saturday Night Live" was firing on all cylinders with guest host Sofia Vergara and British boy band One Direction as the night's musical act. Vergara -- as we shared earlier in a piece about her monologue -- totally held her own with the "SNL" (or, as she calls it "La Noche del Sábado Vivo") regulars, joining in for skits about "The Hunger Games," playing Fran Drescher and sitting down for a spoof of Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live."
In case you missed any of it, let's go to the clips:
Vergara as a totally clueless pink-wigged "Hunger Games" reporter:
As Fran Drescher in "Bein' Quirky with Zooey Deschanel." We loved Kristin Wiig as Drew Berrymore ("If I had a baby I would name it Rolf because it sounds like a fat dog laughing"):
Pantene commercial:
And One Direction's two performances:...

Written by Todd Tjersland and directed by Matt Jaissle, the Sov flick The Necro Files (1997) stars Steve Sheppard as Detective Manners and Gary Browning as his partner Detective Sloane who are on the hunt for Logan (Isaac Cooper) a serial rapist and murderer who has killed and mutilated 200 women including Detective Sloane’s sister. The detectives find Logan at the scene of his latest kill and he manages to stun Manners with a shot to the head before he is handcuffed by Sloane. Manners, however shoots and kills Logan.
Nine months later a group of Satanists performing a ritual in a cemetery inadvertently bring Logan back from the dead. After killing and mutilating all but two of the Satanists who get away, zombie Logan goes around attacking women with his foot-and-a-half long perpetually erect penis, stabbing and feeding on their entrails while screwing them.

Scream 4 news is slowly but surely picking up as we inch closer and closer to the April 15th release date. A few days ago it was revealed (spoiler here) who very well may bite the dust in the opening scene ala Drew Berrymore in the original Scream. Official Plot Synopsis: "Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey (David Arquette) and Gale (Courteney Cox), who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill (Emma Roberts) and her Aunt Kate (Mary McDonnell). Unfortunately Sidney's appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and...

The concept of "Angry Birds," the popular iPhone and iPad game, is simple: Users slingshot evil-eyed avians at unsuspecting pigs to win points. Sound stupid? Not to the 6.5 million people who have downloaded the app and made it one of the most successful games on iTunes. Now Rovio, the Finnish developer behind the app, plans to capitalize on that popularity and move from the iPhone to the big screen.
According to Variety, Rovio is aiming to make "Angry Birds" a major franchise, complete with toys, comic books, TV shows, and even movies. While we've seen major video games translate to the big and small screen before (Super Mario Bros., Mortal Kombat, Prince of Persia, etc.), will that same transition work from the super-small screen?
Certainly, movies have developed from smaller devices. In the mid-1990s, Nintendo launched "Pokemon," the Game Boy title that morphed into an international phenomenon, selling over 200 million copies,...

Casey Becker, remember her Scream fans? Of course you do. It's quite possibly one of the greatest openings in horror movie history. Take Drew Berrymore (Casey Becker) put her on the other end of the phone with Ghostface and fillet her in the opening scene. It was brilliant and Scream 4 is paying homage in a twisted sort of way...
Slight spoiler alerts ahead for those of you that like to be completely in the dark you may want to cease reading right here. What we know so far about Scream 4? Albeit it very little. Apparently Woodsboro the town that the original murders happened in is somehow having a 10 year celebration of the event. Kinda twisted but we're sure there will be a better explanation than what we just gave. However where the film picks up we aren't sure but it does lead to a "barn" party scene. The...

Albeit it's just the Ghostface mask in a production truck but nonetheless it is an original looking mask which may shed even more doubt on the "updated" Ghostface look many have speculated about. Check out these spy shots after the break that include Hayden Panettiere & Emma Roberts on set along with a few pics of Woodsboro High and you'll even notice the same Letterman jackets that Casey's (Drew Berrymore's) boyfriend wore in the first film...

This is a bit of interesting news as we are starting to hear trickles of information from the 'Scream' camp as shooting begins in Ann Arbor Michigan. Many have speculated, including us, that Sydney (Neve Campbell's) character might just bite the dust ala Drew Berrymore style from the original 'Scream'. That doesn't look like the case now that we find out her exact role...
Update: There have been some concerns that this was taken from a fake Neve Campbell twitter account. We are looking into this right now. Obviously it doesn't take much to fake being someone else but it is a shame and we hope to get to the bottom of it. In the days of a tech savvy world it is stories like these that will be harder and harder to authenticate but we strive to do the best we can do, day in,...

This is really just a tidbit of news but you guys have expressed a lot of interest with anything "Scream 4" related so who are we to ignore the masses. And to be honest we hope this film works out being huge fans of the original. With Wes Craven involved we'll be there opening night regardless...
With that being said and as with any "Scream" movie the script is always very tight lipped. We have received tons of casting news but no real details about what might take place with this fourth installment. Everyone at camp HorrorBid feels that Neve Campbell will "Drew Berrymore" in the first scene but that is mere speculation so when real news hits we like to hear it.
Today we learned courtesy of DeepSaidWhat that in many flashback sequences will be shot at Dearborn, Mi at Woodworth Middle School (cool for them) and will serve...

Well now this crazy piece of gossip has made it's way around to few select websites and more than a few forums today. According to the reports Lohan had signed a deal to appear in next years Scream 4 hopefully to die off in the first 5 minutes (at least that would be our hope, no offense Lindsay we'll see how you do in Machete)...
Luckily these reports are completely false. Lohan apparently hasn't even been mentioned being brought aboard and rumors of it happening seem absurd. Although Wes Craven did smartly bring Drew Berrymore into the first Scream fold only to see her killed off minutes later. It took the horror world by storm and so of course people are looking to see who else might take on this role, if they even go this route. But not Lohan, please. So Scream fans come down from the ledges, no need to jump,...

Inarguably, the most powerful, wealthiest celebrity on the planet is Oprah Winfrey. An African-American female. But if you look at a list like the Forbes 100 Most Powerful People in Hollywood or a similar list ranking actors and actresses, the only other African-American female you might find is Halle Berry, who hasn't released a movie in three years, and not even she can successfully open a movie by herself. In fact, the only African-American female that I can think of that's ever really successfully sold a movie on her own was Whoopi Goldberg in the early 90s, although Queen Latifah has given it a shot and Beyonce likes to think she can (and maybe she'll be able to in the future). There are a number of successful cross-over African-American males -- Will Smith, Denzel Washington, Jamie Foxx -- but, by and large, African-American women are role players or romantic leads in ensemble movies,...
