Hell's Kitchen: ITV2, 9pm
Gordon Ramsay's back and he brings his insults along for the ride as his competitive cook show returns for another series.
In a double-bill tonight, 18 aspiring chefs battle it out in the kitchen to impress Ramsay with their signature dish. Of course it never runs smoothly, so expect sweat, tears and lots of shouting.
Undercover: Dave, 9pm
It's the last episode of the fish-out-of-water series, but can Chris (Daniel Rigby) ultimately step up and be a hero?
Yurik (Robert Ashby) is about to reveal his successor, while Zoe (Sarah Alexander) remains prisoner to the Sarkissians. Also Lara (Yasmine Akram) has a few announcements to make.

It all started out so easily.
All I had to do was answer a perfectly reasonable question from Andy Griffiths, who was curious to know what my Top 20 Doctor Who stories were. So the favourites started bobbing around my head in an all-singing, all-dancing maelstrom. The Web Of Fear. City Of Death. Can't forget The Caves Of Androzani. Don't forget to include a string of Hinchcliffe-Holmes classics.
By the time I'd got to the end of my mental list though I'd realised that it wasn't that simple. What about The Mind Of Evil? Or Midnight? Or The Invasion Of Time, which I'll still freely admit to being pretty damn good. They were jostling for attention like ashen-faced stray cats wanting to come in through the back door. Suddenly, producing a Top 20 of John's Favourites seemed about as easy as building your own Tardis from nothing but paper and duct tape.

One of the great things about Doctor Who is that it always champions the underdog. The evil tyrants are never allowed to win the day (except on rare occasions) and so it's left to the Cordos, Vishinskys and Jagos to stroll off into the sunset with their heads held high.
Doctor Who even has its very own group of underdog stories – some of these fall into the underrated but brilliant strand like The Ambassadors Of Death, Image Of The Fendahl or Frontios. Then there are the tales that used to be slated but are getting reappraised by fans like The Horns Of Nimon or The Gunfighters. And then there are the tales that are seemingly beyond redemption like The Twin Dilemma, Time And The Rani and Timelash.
Ah, Timelash. Nobody seems to like it. Some clever soul found that if you rearrange the letters, they make up Lame Shit, which...
