Mary Aloe Aloe started her career as a professional journalist and was hired independently by several of America's and Europe's most successful consumer magazines including US Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, Paris Match, Der Stern, Hola and Hello and The Christian Science Monitor Radio.
She formed Proud Mary Entertainment, Inc., a Beverly Hills based Feature Film/Television Production and Talent Management Company in 1999. The company specializes in developing and producing independent and studio features, television series, network and cable event movies.
Proud Mary Entertainment's first Television movie of the week was in 2001 for NBC Television. The Princess and the Marine, (2001) (TV), the true story of a Middle-Eastern Princess who fell in love with an American Marine. This project generated so much excitement it became the industry's 2nd biggest bidding war in television history. It then became the highest rated Movie of the Week that year for NBC. Aloe executive produced this made for TV movie with Columbia Tri-Star.
Aloe has a vast background in co- producing television news magazines and talk shows, "Hard Copy", "Geraldo" ABC's "20/20", "The Susan Powter Show", USA network's "Case Closed and several reality specials including NBC's Caught in the Act, which she co-produced with Dick Clark.
Always looking to broaden her experiences, she joined forces with The Pritcher Company, a talent management agency where she is currently a partner. The Pritcher Company has over twelve years of experience in entertainment talent management with an enviable reputation for bringing new creative talent to the industry. The company has many actors and actresses in features, television series and soaps. This year alone clients have had reoccurring roles on "Veronica Mars", "Supernatural", "Commander In Chief", "C.S.I" as well as roles in many independent features.
Aloe has also affiliated herself with the top organizations in the entertainment industry. She is a member of the following guilds: WEN (Women's Entertainment Network) American Federation of Women in Television & Radio CAUCUS - a film and television producer guild.
