- Larry Pizer was born on May 19, 1925. He was a cinematographer and assistant director, known for Phantom of the Paradise (1974), ABC Afterschool Specials (1972) and Timerider: The Adventure of Lyle Swann (1982). He died on February 27, 2008 in New York City, New York, USA.

- Began his career as a runner at Korda's Denham Studios, graduating to camera work by 1942. Did his first post-war work as director of photography on British documentaries. In the 60's, Pizer was noted for his realistic location settings (especially London) and his ability to transform specific milieu into mood and atmosphere.
