Blogger Kelly Rizzo, the widow of beloved actor Bob Saget, has addressed the criticism she faced for her new relationship after Saget’s death.
After a slew of ugly comments that condemned Rizzo’s new romance, Rizzo, who was married to Saget from 2018 until he died in 2022, took to TikTok to defend herself against those who claimed she moved on too quickly.
In a poignant video shared to TikTok, Rizzo responded to critics, “Unless you are a widow or a widower, you truly have absolutely no place and no right to comment on this because you do not know what it’s like… You just don’t understand the incredibly complex and difficult and dynamic thoughts and feelings that come up during this entire process… you feel guilty and ashamed even thinking about starting to date again, but yet you also feel lonely, and so you want to do it.

Looks like all those early concerns about whether name stars would walk the picket line ended up being a waste of energy: a strike captain on Saturday recognized Day 100 of the SAG-AFTRA strike by calling out many of the big names who joined the rank and file in those daily protests.

Today came the sad news that Smash Mouth frontman Steve Harwell died at 56. Smash Mouth is undoubtedly best known today for the fact their 1999 hit song "All Star" played at the very beginning of the first "Shrek" movie. Like with everything else related to "Shrek," the song has become a bit of a meme.
It's easy to forget, however, that before "Shrek" debuted at Cannes and went on to win the very first Academy Award for Best Animated Feature, "All Star" was a smash hit way before Shrek. It was considered one of the best songs of 1999 and even got nominated for the Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal Grammy. While "Shrek" immortalized it, it was actually another film from 2001 that gave us the best use of "All Star," and one of the best endings to a movie of the last 20 years.

Super Bowl commercials are often a haven of reunions and nostalgia grabs. In years past, they’ve seen the likes of Matthew Broderick return to play himself, similar to his famous Ferris Bueller character. Recently, Zach Galligan reunited with Gizmo for a commercial. Last night, Alicia Silverstone stepped back into her Cher attire for a Clueless tribute for a Super Bowl commercial for Rakuten, Deadline reports.
The Big Game TV Spot depicted Cher Horowitz in her former debate class, being interrupted by her rival, Amber, which sees Eliza Donovan back in the film role as well. The spot mirrors a similar scene in the 1995 Amy Heckerling comedy in which Cher gives a presentation in Mr. Hall’s debate class against the opposing party represented by Amber. In the twist for the TV spot, it’s not the same class, but a modern-day school class.

Horror movies like Deep Fear take place underground, and they are often the most effective as far as compelling scares go. They evoke a fear that everyone can understand. Trap someone in a confined, dark space below ground, then have them be pursued by someone (or something) — it’s a simple but winning formula.
Screambox‘s latest release Deep Fear, as well as the nine other movies below, reinforce feelings of claustrophobia and remind you of what possible evils could be hiding below the surface. As Above, So Below, The Descent, C.H.U.D., Creep and The Midnight Meat Train are all familiar examples of this subgenre, but this list focuses on underseen movies set underground.

Throughout his decades-long career, writer, actor, comedian, and director Mike Myers has been part of not one, not two, but three mammoth movie hits. Google his name, and you'll find stories alternating between the mullet hero of "Wayne's World," a psychedelic spy, or a grumpy green ogre -- such is the versatility of this Canadian-born comedy machine.
As if his franchise chops weren't impressive enough, he's also responsible for creating two out of these three blockbuster movie tentpoles. Myers' talent places a focus on character creation and sculpting unique worlds. Audiences have been quick to jump onto whatever bandwagon Myers dreams up. He's one of the most successful and well-known comedians working today.
Funnybones aside, he's also someone who isn't afraid to shake things up and appear where you'd least expect. He recently collaborated on David O. Russell's "Amsterdam," continuing a supporting role trend that saw him appear in...

As we all mourn the end of the Halloween season and brace ourselves for the seemingly unending parade of holidays based on familial obligations or gross displays of capitalism, November is here to serve as a little respite. Many of the horror movies that disappeared off streaming platforms to try and snag some extra Halloween funds in October are returning to their respective platforms, but the trickling in of cheesy Christmas fare is also coming in fast.
Fortunately, there's a massive amount of old favorites and exciting new titles trying to beat the holiday havoc, and we've got five between Hulu and Disney+ that you would be wise to check out. Action? Teen movies? Horror comedies? Musicals? Weirdly bleak arthouse film with surprising brutality? November has it all, baby.

Okay, Paul Rudd is kind of a Baldwin*, but when People magazine named the then-52-year-old actor the Sexiest Man Alive in 2021, it was a bit of a surprise… Or was it? For years now Rudd has wooed the world with his particular brand of unassuming niceness, boyish looks (how is he 53?!), philanthropic acts, apparent lack of ego, and incredibly charismatic screen presence. But it was Amy Heckerling that launched him into the hearthrob limelight when she cast him in Clueless, her Valleygirl take on Jane Austen’s Emma.
From the outset, Heckerling had wanted to make a movie about a teenage girl who was relentlessly sunny and positive and had found inspiration in Austen’s title character, now transposed to Beverly Hills, complete with a former step-brother blurring the lines of familial relationships…. Josh (Rudd).

David Cronenberg plays the hits in “Crimes of the Future” (Neon), but there’s no other filmmaker today with hits like his. Viggo Mortensen and Léa Seydoux are a pair of surgery-based performance artists whose interests intersect with a sect of plastic-eaters, while bureaucrats Kristen Stewart (giving the screen’s most divisive performance since Jared Leto in “House of Gucci”) and Don McKellar look on in fannish amazement. If you enjoy the auteur’s brand of surgical implements that look like insect exoskeletons and furniture that looks like tumors, this is your kind of movie.

Some of them are good, but most of them are bad, really bad. All 22,000 plus voting members of the TV academy have until June 28 to cast their 2021 Emmy Awards nominations ballots for programs. Unlike the Oscars, voters for the Emmys do not rank their choices and nominees are determined by a simple tally. In the past, voters were limited in the number of programs that they could put forth. Four years ago that cap (which was usually 10 per category) was lifted.
While the comedy and drama series ballots have each maintained an average of over 100 entrants in recent years, there have nearly always been fewer than 40 choices in the limited series genre. There are 37 shows on the list this year, which is down by four from last year. There were 35 in 2019, 33 in 2018, and 25 in 2017. Five series from the list below will make the cut and be announced as Emmy nominees on July 13.

Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin are the newest celeb parents, welcoming their son, Dakota Song Culkin, on April 5. For most of their four-year romance, they've kept things pretty low-key, to the point that plenty of people reacted with surprise that they were even a couple, let alone having a kid together! The story behind their meeting, though, is a Hollywood tale as old as time.
Like so many people in showbiz, Brenda and Macaulay actually met at work. In 2017, they both were cast in the movie Changeland, directed by Seth Green, a mutual friend and colleague. The movie - eventually released in 2019 - is an indie dramedy about a man (played by Green) who visits a longtime friend in Thailand for a change in scenery and some partying after going through an unexpected personal crisis. Macaulay plays Ian, a tour-boat owner with a huge personality, and Brenda plays Pen, a tour guide.

“Happily” is what happens when a cute conceit goes nowhere intriguing. Writer-director BenDavid Grabinski’s feature debut tries to generate comedic menace and mystery from the aftermath of a bizarre encounter between a preternaturally lovey-dovey California couple and an enigmatic stranger, but there’s nothing particularly amusing or suspenseful about the weirdness that ensues. when it debuts in theaters and on VOD on March 19.

I can’t tell you how many times a friend has come up to me with a story that positions their significant other as the proverbial albatross around their neck with a look that screams, “Amirite?” only to have me shrug, smile, and reply, “I don’t know. I actually like my partner.” I only partially say this in jest because I do hope they’ll hear those words and rethink their situation—their refusal to acknowledge their own part in their problems, the possibility that their relationship isn’t working, or whatever else. That this desire to undercut and blame the people we love as being the constant source of our unhappiness has become the norm is a perfect example of social conditioning gone wrong. We are allowed to be happy.

Refresh for updates… Pioneering TV executive Jamie Tarses is being remembered in Hollywood today as a “fun, funny, brutally honest” and a “driving force” in some of the most beloved television series of a generation.
“She changed my life,” tweeted Kristen Johnston, star of NBC’s 3rd Rock from the Sun who said Tarses was a “huger early network supporter” of the 1996-2001 sitcom, adding that the exec “became 1 of my dearest friends. A trailblazer for women in the TV industry & an all-around beautiful, fun, brilliant person.

We had lots of questions about that choice. Fortunately, we also had two executive producers captive on Zoom.
“Just because of the premise,...
