Jamie Lee Curtis on Friday celebrated the 28th anniversary of James Cameron’s “True Lies” by sharing a photo of herself actually dangling out of a helicopter in order to achieve one of the action movie’s more daring stunts.
Curtis explained in a Facebook post that while her stunt double Donna Keegan deserves all the credit for the scene in which Curtis’ character Helen is pulled by Arnold Schwarzenegger out of a limousine moon roof and over burning wreckage, Curtis herself did soar in the air so they could achieve one magnificent overhead shot. You can see her photo below and the finished product here.
“In order to get the shot we had to wire me to the helicopter at base camp and then fly for 20 minutes over the water to get to the 7 mile bridge where the wreckage took place,” Curtis said, saying that the picture took place...

Eliza Dushku received a $9.5 million settlement from CBS after claiming she was written off “Bull” for complaining about sexual harassment on set, according to a New York Times report. The actress joined the primetime drama for three episodes in March of 2017, with plans to become a full-time cast member; following alleged comments from star Michael Weatherly, who “remarked on her appearance, and made a rape joke and a comment about a threesome,” she was written off the series. Eliza Dushku has alleged that one of Hollywood’s leading stunt coordinators sexually molested her during the filming of 1994’s True Lies when she was just 12 years old.
The actress, 37, was starring in the James Cameron-directed film alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis when she met Joel Kramer — who has worked on many of Schwarzenegger’s films including Twins, Total Recall, Kindergarten Cop, Last Action Hero, Eraser, and Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

Hollywood stuntman Joel Kramer vigorously denied accusations leveled at him by actress Eliza Dushku Saturday, saying he “never sexual assaulted her” and that he was “shocked.” In lengthy Facebook post, the actress said she was filming “True Lies” when the then-36-year-old stuntman lured Dushku — who was 12 years old at the time — into his hotel room in Miami and molested her. She said that when he was “finished,” he suggested they “should be careful” not to tell anyone. Reached by phone Saturday morning, Kramer said he did not know of the post. But after TheWrap read it to him...

“I remember, so clearly 25 years later, how Joel Kramer made me feel special, how he methodically built my and my parents’ trust, for months grooming me,” she writes. “I remember vividly how he methodically drew the shades and turned down the lights; how he cranked up the air-conditioning to what felt like freezing levels, where exactly he placed me on one of the two hotel room beds, what movie he...

James Cameron’s Terminator 2: Judgment Day was twenty years old yesterday. We take a look back at a sci-fi action classic…
It's hard to believe that Terminator 2 is really twenty years old. I can still remember the excitable reviews of the time, which all raved about its seamless, groundbreaking special effects and relentless action.
I also remember my initial scepticism when I first heard that this sequel to the extraordinarily violent 1984 original was given a 15 rating by the BBFC in the UK. Surely, I thought, this meant that Cameron had decided to tone the movie down for a broader audience?
I needn't have worried, as it turned out. As Cameron proved with Aliens, he's extremely good at directing sequels, and at coming up with ideas that revisit the themes of the original movie, while finding a way of somehow upping the dramatic stakes.
The original Terminator was, essentially, one long,...

We're only a few days in, and there's already been a lot of music-themed film news this week -- from word of an Ozzy documentary to Roger Daltry's disappointment with possible scripts for that Keith Moon flick. But those are nothing compared to the little nugget over at MTV. Even without "I'm Going Slightly Mad" on the media player, this tidbit sounds so utterly nuts that it must be discussed.
It seems that way back when, stunt coordinator Joel Kramer went to James Cameron's office to look at storyboards for Terminator 2, and "I was like, 'Jim, these storyboards look just like Billy Idol!' And he was like, 'Yeah, he was my first pick.' But Billy had gotten into a motorcycle accident and broke his leg, so it didn't work out, because he would have to be in lean running shape." Those are storyboards for the T-1000. Yes folks,...
