Punctuation (mis)use

We've just recieved 'The Shape Of Things' at my drama school and in beating the script it became clear that there are:
No capital letters at all,
Commas where there shouldn't be,
Full stops where there should be commas,
Over a thousand elipsis (...) throughout,
And there are numerous other uses of punctuation that seem incorrect.

Now my teachers seem to want to read into it as clues the writer has given us to suggest how he wants the play to be but I'm of the mind he's just not good with punctuation.

Are any of his other plays as bad and can anyone shed any light? Thanks.
