Latest: Warring exes Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards have both emerged "pleased" with the outcome of their latest court hearing in their long and bitter custody battle over their two young daughters.
Former Bond girl Richards was forced to scrap a photoshoot for her reality TV show Denise Richards: It's Complicated on Friday, because Sheen had summoned her to a Los Angeles court.
The actress revealed the news during a phone interview with Ryan Seacrest on his Kiis-fm show - but she refused to say what the nature of the impromptu hearing was.
The couple, who divorced in 2006, has been trading insults through the media for weeks, but after meeting in court on Friday, they both claimed to be happy with the latest ruling.
Sheen's representative tells TMZ.com, "Charlie was very grateful and more than pleased with the court for how they dealt with the custody issues regarding his two children this morning."
And Richards was equally "pleased" with the judge's decision. Her attorney tells TMZ.com the ruling was "in the children's best interests", although neither party has revealed exactly what that outcome was.
Richards and Sheen are parents to three-year-old Sam and Lola, two.

Warring exes Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen are back in court in Los Angeles on Friday for another ugly clash.
After weeks of trading insults through the media, Richards was forced to miss a photoshoot for her reality TV show, and revealed during an interview on Ryan Seacrest's Kiis-fm show that Sheen had summoned her to court.
She told Seacrest - who produces her show, Denise Richards: It's Complicated - "I am sitting in the parking lot at the courthouse. He decided to take me to court this morning.
"If he is here we will see each other today. I imagine he'll be here. He's the one taking me to court. He should be here."
Richards refused to reveal the nature of the hearing but it follows a fierce battle over custody of their two young daughters following their divorce in 2006.
The actress insists she is still hopeful there will be an end to the pair's increasingly public war, telling Seacrest, "I hope that there is a way out. That's the goal. This is ugly and humiliating and it's bad for our children.
"For the girls' sake, the best thing is for he and I to be cordial. It would happen on my part."

Charlie Sheen has insisted his two young daughters only wear the necklaces he gave them as gifts at his recent wedding when they're with him, according to their mother, Denise Richards.
The former Bond girl was left fuming when she learned her girls had to give back the jewellery their father and his new bride Brooke Mueller gave them after the wedding.
The incident has become the latest issue in the bitter he-said, she-said saga between the exes.
Richards, who recently fought to include the girls in her reality TV show It's Complicated after Sheen objected, tells TV Guide magazine, "When they came home I was told by their nanny they had to give them (the necklaces) back.
"I said, 'But aren't they a gift?' The nanny said, 'They are, but they can only wear them at his house.'
"I said, 'Have him call his lawyer then, 'cause I'm not gonna tell a three and a four year old, you have to give back the necklaces daddy gave you and only wear them at daddy's house.'
"This is what I deal with."

Charlie Sheen has issued an apology after expletive-laden answer machine messages he left for his ex-wife Denise Richards two years ago were made public online.
In the 2005 voicemails, which have been circulating on the internet for the past two days, an angry Sheen rages about what he calls his former wife's "lawyer bulls**t" in the midst of their divorce proceedings.
He rants, "I guess I should just get used to the fact that... you fire off your nonsense and your lawyer bulls**t and your f*****g e-mails and then you don't answer the phone.
"I'm just really f*****g mad and you owe me a phone call... If I did the same s**t to you, you'd be f*****g furious."
And in a follow-up voicemail, from 19 April of the same year, Sheen goes ballistic, shouting, "I hope you rot in f**king hell. You're a piece of s**t, f*****g liar... I hope I never f*****g talk to you again you f*****g c**t.
"You're a coward and a liar and a f*****g n****r."
In a statement released on Wednesday, Sheen apologises for "my choice of words," particularly his racist slur, naming his friend Tony Todd, an African-American, "who was my best man at my first two weddings".
Defiant Sheen also uses his apology to further attack his ex, adding, "For the record, my children did not show up today for a custodial visit without explanation.
"So three and one half years later, the reasons that caused the anger and frustration displayed on that voicemail continue to be manifested on a daily basis."
The former couple divorced in 2006 and has since been embroiled in a bitter dispute over custody of their two daughters, three-year-old Sam and Lola, two.

Former Bond girl Denise Richards has defended her family's large pet collection, insisting all the animals are well looked after.
The actress has showed off some of her pets - five dogs, four cats and three pigs - on her reality TV show Denise Richards: It's Complicated, but has refuted reports her home is overrun by the creatures after a source claimed she owns "over 20 dogs" and that "her place is like a zoo".
But Richards has hit back at the claims, telling the New York Post's Page Six, "I will say I have 10 dogs. Is there a law against having a lot of animals?
"My family loves animals, I live on a ranch, and I provide a great environment for them, so I am not sure why there is so much drama about how many animals I have."

The Two and a Half Men star recently got married for the third time, but this doesn't mean his media feud with Richards is over. In fact, it's far from it.
"[Charlie Sheen] loves to trash me in the press and discredit me and has tried to sabotage my show," Denise Richards told Reuters. "I can't change that, so I just keep living my life. I hope that now that he's married, he can move forward and be civil."

Former Bond girl Denise Richards is still disturbed by her ex-husband Charlie Sheen's claims she emailed him asking for a sperm donation.

Richards admits the allegation has prompted her to cut all ties with Sheen, admitting she's sick of trying to thaw frosty relations with the actor.

Denise Richards has offered an olive branch to her ex-husband Charlie Sheen - pleading with the star to stop publicly bashing her now he has re-married.
The former couple divorced in 2006 and has since been embroiled in a bitter dispute over custody of their two daughters, three-year-old Sam and Lola, two.
And they have taken any opportunity open to them to showcase their distaste for each other, with Sheen accusing the beauty of sending him emails begging him to donate his sperm so that she could carry another one of his children.
The claim infuriated Richards, who slammed the star, saying, "I don't want Charlie's prostitute-tranny-infested sperm", when defending herself to New York's gossip column Page Six.
Sheen also blasted their time as husband and wife after his recent marriage to Brooke Mueller, saying, "It feels like my first real marriage (to Mueller). The first one (to Donna Peele) was a show, the second (to Richards) was a con, and this one is the real deal."
But, now, Richards claims she is tired of their public feuding, and is hoping her former partner will act "civil" towards her now that he has a new wife.
She says, "He loves to trash me in the press and discredit me and has tried to sabotage my show. I can't change that, so I just keep living my life.
"I hope that now that he's married, he can move forward and be civil."

And now - in a hearing on Monday - a Los Angeles judge has ordered Sheen and Richards to equally split the bill which has been racked up by their ongoing legal feud.
Sheen remarried last week, with Brooke Mueller becoming his third wife at a small ceremony in L.A.

Charlie Sheen has accused ex-wife Denise Richards of using her reality show to try to sabotage his wedding to Brooke Mueller.
Denise Richards: It's Complicated first aired just days before Sheen and Mueller tied the knot in a Los Angeles ceremony.
Sheen is convinced the show and Richards' promotional duties - which brought their bitter divorce and custody battle back into the public eye - were meant to coincide with the wedding.
He tells Ok! magazine, "I think it's no accident that whatserface chose this time to do what she did. It's pretty obvious that Brooke and I, through our actions and union, are moving on with our lives. Perhaps somebody else should consider the same."
Sheen also vows to move on now he is remarried, and never mention Richards' name again: "I'm tired of talking about her and all her shenanigans. It is what it is. I don't even care any more. I'm going to take a public stand to basically never utter her name publicly again, and I think if that's known it will put an end to some of the drama.
