Composed a song, "Shooting the Breeze", sung by 'Sting (I)' on Michael Aspel TV show (UK). Played piano on the show for the Sting performance.

award for Outstanding Performance. During performances, his female fans would pelt him with roses.

Broadway as Ridzinski in the service comedy "A Cook for Mr. General", which opened at the Playhouse Theatre on October 19, 1961 and closed on November 11, 1961 after 28 total performances.

Martin Sheen in the role of Timmy Clearly in the original

The Subject Was Roses (1968)"; he also replaced the stage manager on the production.

Stage: In 1990 he played Shylock in a revival of
William Shakespeare's "The Merchant Of Venice" on
Broadway, for which he received a Tony nomination as Best Actor (Play).
Stage: In 1984 he played the part of Willy Loman in a revival of "Death of a Salesman" on
Broadway. The production won a Tony for Best Reproduction. However, his performance was looked down upon by critics and was snubbed by the Tony committee, even though he won a Drama Desk
award. In 1985 he reprised this role for TV and got his revenge on the theater world by winning an Emmy and a Golden Globe
Award for his performance.
