- DirectorSteve GooderStarsPaul McGannDaniel TammetThis is a documentary on one extraordinary (even by savant standards) person: Daniel Tammet. Daniel exhibits, aside from the amazing intellectual capabilites associated with savantism, self-awareness of his mental processes and is a relatively high-functioning autist. This is a huge thing, since most savants cannot function or even survive in a society without plenty of support from others. Thus, Daniel receives the immense abilities of a savant, while missing many of the stereotypical drawbacks. Thanks to Daniel's agreement to many cognitive experiments and studies, our knowledge of the human brain and its amazing feats, as well the resulting link to social and neurological problems, is expanding by orders of magnitude. From Wikipedia: Daniel Paul Tammet (born January 31, 1979, London, England) is a British autistic savant gifted with a facility for mathematics problems, sequence memory, and natural language learning. He was born with congenital childhood epilepsy.

From times immemorial, scientists, philosophers and theologians tried to understand its explicit and implicit properties, which are phenomenal, beyond the common physical laws of nature. Witness recent, breathtaking discoveries by researchers worldwide from Russia, Kazakhstan, Switzerland, Israel, the USA, Britain, Austria, Japan, Argentina, China and Tibet. The arguments expound upon unexpected and challenging assumptions enlightening many years of research to open humankind to new horizons, such as the applications of structured water in agriculture, or the use of water in treatment for the most serious diseases and more. The Geography of the film spans the globe. The implications go beyond the solar system, suggesting that water has the ability to convey messages faster than light, perhaps linking water with the absolute. - DirectorCamilla SullivanRob LyallStarsJames AngelSal ArnukLinda Semans Donovan'Ghost Exchange' probes the volatile state of U.S. capital markets and their critical impact on America's economic future. The film explores the acceleration of the evolution of U.S. stock exchanges, and uncovers the risks resulting from this wholesale adoption. Wall Street has transformed from the world of human touch trading, to computer algorithm trading- where stocks are owned for mere microseconds. The thought-provoking documentary also examines how recent financial headlines are a direct result of automated systems running unchecked. Wall Street has become a 'ghost exchange'.

- DirectorMichelle DoughertyDaniel HinerfeldStarsKen BalcombChristopher ClarkJean-Michel CousteauSonic Sea is a 60-minute documentary about the devastating impact of industrial and military ocean noise on whales and other marine life. The film begins with a mystery: the unexplained stranding and mass mortality of several species of whales in the Bahamas in March 2000. As the mystery unfolds, the film explores the critical role of sound in the sea, and the sudden, dramatic changes human activity is inflicting on the ocean's delicate acoustic habitat -- changes that threaten the ability of whales and other marine animals to prosper, to function, and ultimately, to survive. Sonic Sea features several charismatic scientists, including Ken Balcomb, the former Navy pilot and acoustics expert who proved to the world that naval sonar is killing whales, as well as the musician and environmental activist, Sting, whose moving interview connects the sonic world of marine life with our sonic world on land. The film offers solutions (and, by extension, hope) for a quieter ocean, and underscores that the ocean's destiny is inextricably bound with our own.
