- When Amy catches her husband being fellated by another man, she promptly falls down the stairs, bangs her head, and wakes up in hospital believing that she is 16 and that the year is 1999. Gone is Amy's vocal fry 'Made in Chelsea' accent, and any recollection of the weak-chinned man claiming to be her husband. And instead all she cares about now is tracking down her teenage first love - a woman, Polly.

- After another long day of being a stay-at-home mom, Sarah battles a cold and fears Paul is hiding something from her. Sapphire shares more information with a reporter than she probably should.
- Ruby continues her scheming to get dirt on Gulliver. Alice voices her discontent, and Andrew takes it upon himself to investigate the suspicious activity outside his home.
- Paul and Sarah host a dinner party with Paul's coworkers and Sarah confronts Melissa. Alice and Andrew are faced with their mortality, and Ruby continues to manipulate Sapphire.

The women must combine to escape from Betty without being seen to collude in subverting the election whilst the heavily pregnant Eva has a baby to deliver.
- Delivering an earnest speech dedicated to novelist Elizabeth Gaskell Margaret hopes to recruit more women to her suffrage group but her audience prefers to imbibe Dr Hamm's Invigorator, containing cocaine and this, along with Emily's revolt against capitalist mother Helen, tends to dominate the evening. More importantly they take precedence over Helen's intended dinner party for the great and good and Gwen ends up by having her say.
- Margaret has written a feminist pantomime, glorifying famous women but destroyed the script after criticism from her husband. With opening night rapidly approaching Eva comes up with her own play, based on Cinderella and called 'The Dirty Princess' but Margaret is annoyed that it has no social content and plans her own one woman show. However, after the suffragettes hear some upsetting news Margaret agrees to merge the two plays, resulting in a standing ovation and rapturous applause.
- Guv's in for a shock when he discovers Gregg Thompson's turned the Queen of Hearts into a coffee house - and found God.
- "Barman's hand" and stress finally takes it's toll on Guv, and he ends up collapsing and setting fire to the kitchen.
- As a protest against the exclusion of women from playing bowls Margaret plans to distribute leaflets during an international match at the local bowling green but when another suffragette group sabotages the green the tournament is held indoors. Two emancipated New Zealand entrants arrive and recruit the women as their substitutes but in the event the group finds the entire game extremely boring.
- Connie finds herself in a dilemma when Vicky's dad wants her to take part in a nude calendar shoot.
- The brewery wants the pub to have a more country feel about it by changing it's food and drinks menu and having a stuffed pheasant on the bar, which to Guv's delight, a customer identifies as the exact one that belonged to Prince Albert.
- Leslie falls for Connie, so Lesley decides to bring a new man to the pub.
