Notes
- The Sydney Film Festival was founded in 1954 by a group of film enthusiasts at Sydney University. Subsequently the festival has significantly increased in size and reputation to become one of Australia's most prestigious and highly-respected film festivals.
- Since 1970 the festival has administrated a competition for Australian films under 60 minutes in length. It is the longest-running short film competition in Australia.
