- When Mr. Esalat is looking for a topic for his TV show, he notices an advertisement in the newspaper about a missing girl. The picture of the missing girl is very familiar to him and he tries to remember where he saw it before. His wife Asieh is a teacher and at home she writes his mother's diary. When he searches for the address in that advertisement, he finds that it belongs to 30 years ago. Asieh is becoming interested in the missing girl too.
- Three fellows are gaining money by faking that they are Gashte Ershad (a special police for arresting guys and girls that wear clothes in a bad way).
- REQUIEM begins as Nasrollah, just released from prison, returns home to discover that his mother has died while he was incarcerated. Nasrollah hits the streets looking for work, but finding none he resumes his previous life as a street peddler. Casting his lot with two other peddlers, with whom he becomes roommates, for a while Nasrollah seems to achieve once again a sense of community and belonging.
- Inspired by his recent trip to the USA, a filmmaker (played by Dariush Farhang) dreams of making an action film in modern Iran. Having little experience to draw on, he finds that the task is much more daunting that he had first imagined. As he faces setback after setback, he wonders if he will ever complete his project. An interesting look into the complexities of filmmaking.
