Because his daughter would like him to be seen as little as possible, Bob decides that that's probably a good excuse to move the poker game to his house (specifically his kitchen, while his daughter's party take place in the living room) So we see Bob try to juggle his poker game, taking care of his wife, and handle his chaperoned duties (meaning having to buy ice and soft drinks) Meanwhile, the daughter's party is a bit of a bust with everyone being unusually quiet and reserved and so Bob tries to help out by livening things a bit by introducing them to a game called "Twister." In trying to clean out the chimney himself along with his two sons, he ends up getting the younger son stuck in the fireplace (the kid went in there because he was the only one small enough or skinny enough to unclog something) Will Bob get the kid out of the chimney before his wife comes home? Worse yet, what will he do if his wife finds out what really happened? Suspense is had.
- Bob wants to see a huge fight on pay per view cable but the fight is on the same night his wife is forcing him and their kids to go to the ballet with her parents, so Bob gets his teenage son to fake a fever so that the two of them could stay home. This surprisingly works until the cable cuts out so Bob goes down to the cable company to get it turned back on, he gets back to find a huge luau/Hawaiian style party happening in his house--apparently his co-worker got wind of Bob watching the fight and decided to invite the few dozens of people he was gonna invite to his house to Bob's house instead. Bob panics that his wife will walk in on all this happening until he realizes that his co-worker has been charging ten bucks a head for people there, he still panics but thinks he can get everyone out in the time the fight ends and the time his wife gets home. Can he?!?!?!?
