- Nevermore can be viewed as a gothic tale set in present-day Baltimore. By tracing the legend of Edgar Allan Poe, a famous American writer who lived in Baltimore between 1833 and 1835, the film explores Poe's ghostly oeuvre in the popular imagination. It also depicts different communities and protagonists that are connected through Poe's legacy, as well as the social divisions between them.
- A taxidermist, a deer farmer and a museum worker live in the environment in which the line between reality and artificiality has become imperceptible. It's a world where not only deer and boars but also plastic alligator mannequins are being hunted, while stuffed animals compete for the most alive-looking posture and legitimate gaze. The most important exhibits are set up in fabricated nature's glass-case, sitting between aerosol-free trees and fake snow. Animals are looking from all the sides - dead or alive - they won't stop observing you.
- Vilnius is a city of notable historical heritage and unique character currently undergoing considerable changes. Some of the life fragments our camera has recorded are no more. The film, therefore, is a testimony to that which has faded into oblivion, and a glimpse into what is to come.

Discovering she can conjure up the wind by pressing piano keys, Mora starts a journey through a dormant world. Getting acquainted with its features and creatures, Mora looks for ways to bring it back to life.
