- Storytellers are as old as man himself and moviemakers are only the latest incarnation of this long tradition. They spin their tales to not only entertain and amaze, but to educate and enrich our lives as well. Without this vital element of human civilization we would be relegated to a "ground hog day" like existence where everyone would have to begin each day, generation and epoch anew without the benefit of learning from the past. But who are these modern day storytellers and why do they feel compelled to tell the stories they tell? Stay tuned for a riveting look at the people and process behind the camera lens, their foibles and the magic spells they weave in a new ribald, reality styled comedy series called "Shooters".
- The TV series is based on the historical memories of the pilots who are members of the Oceanside, CA "Old Bold Pilots Association".
- A relaxing day by the pool turns into a virtual nightmare. Aliens have arrived....Don't go in the water or you will become one of "The Changed"...as Rocky Falk, Lucky and Chance found out in this short film homage to the 1950's sci fi movies.
- ShortEarth has been conquered by an alien race of GIANTS. Max Pastier is the only weapon that can destroy them. He is linked to a transforming robot/aircraft known as "mecha". Built with the secrets discovered and recorded by Earth's ancient civilizations, rediscovered by Nicholai Tesla, only one person can operate it...Earth's last great hope...Max Pastier...but Max was lost in the great war. In this post-apocalyptic world, mankind is about to become extinct while world awaits for the return of its savior.
- Fed up with the limelight, studio mogul Gray Calderon exits the scene leaving Eddie Lain and a motley crew who couldn't shoot straight to save their lives quickly run the old studio into the ground and have to abandon ship.
- The entire studio crew meets to discuss the current dire state of affairs as Eddie has a come-to-Jesus moment realizing how the studio is barely afloat in a sea of red ink.
- Meeting to discuss the dire straits the studio's in only serves to have the crew start abandoning ship as Eddie cuts the meeting short to start drinking margaritas while Kathy sends a damning report to Gray.
- Eddie continues his search for Gray in Korea only to get mugged by a gang of street girls instead. Recovering in a Buddhist monastery he reconnects with an old comrade of Gray's hiding out there who gives him a lead to Gray's true whereabouts. Finally tracking him down in a Laotian tea house, they engage in a finger pointing verbal showdown only to have Gray's initial rebuff turn into a greenlit project after Eddie has a sudden epiphany about shooting a show based on the crazy antics of his wayward studio crew back home. Intrigued, Gray asks, "So, what is it? A reality show, a documentary, a sitcom, a movie, what?" Eddie's enigmatic reply is, "Yes!" And so, the show, "Shooters", is born.
