- "Tight" is a kick-ass, all-girl, hard-rock band. Think Go-Go's meet Metallica. The four member rock band came together in Las Vegas where each hopes they can make the transition from porn star to rock star.
- What makes a woman decide to appear in an adult movie? Make Me a Porn Star introduces audiences to a different woman or couple every episode making the controversial decision to make their adult film debut.
- Meet Tight: Monica Mayhem (vocals), Layla Labelle (guitar), Tuesday Cross (bass) and Alicia Andrews (drums). At the band's first rehearsal, the girls discover that they have a lot of work ahead of them to become rock stars. So when their manager Bree gives them the news that their first gig is just five days away in Las Vegas, they scramble to get ready.
- After their first gig, Bree gives out her report cards. Monica and Layla are offended by some of Bree's comments while Alicia and Tuesday get nothing but compliments. The girls celebrate their first gig by getting drunk and partying back at their rented house, only to have to shoot their first music video the next day with hangovers.
- Realizing they need help with their equipment, the girls audition roadies and are surprised when an old friend shows up. And when Bree's cousin Joel forgets to pay the rehearsal space rent, the girls are confronted by an angry landlord. Layla worries Monica is taking the band in the wrong direction.
- The girls are surprised when Joel shows up with an RV and announces they are leaving for a tour they knew nothing about. On the long drive from Las Vegas to Denver the girls pass the time by writing a new song. When Bree finds out Joel has taken the band to Denver, she is furious and fires her cousin, leaving the girls stranded with no money.
- Monica and Alicia appear on a Denver radio station where the DJ's are amazed to learn that Alicia is a former firefighter and police officer. At the band's next gig, Tuesday is forced to give the band personal money to help finance the tour, and a bizarre opening act leads to problems at the club and tempters flaring.
- The band arrives in Santa Fe for another gig, where Monica uses Tuesday's money to book a nice hotel room for her and Alicia. The younger girls, Layla and Tuesday, want to party all night and Monica and Alicia just want some sleep - creating nightly problems. Alicia starts to develop feelings for Tatum, the band's security guard.
- The band arrive in Phoenix flat broke. The only hotel they can afford is in the worst part of town. In an effort to improve morale, Monica changes the room assignments, forcing Alicia and Layla to share a room. This leads to a fight when Alicia accuses Layla of stealing from her. When Monica brings the band to a nearby gentleman's club to learn some tricks for the stage, Layla isn't impressed.
- Bree calls Monica with good news; she's lined up a photo shoot for her. While the band desperately needs the money, the shoot is all the way in Scottsdale and Monica is late for the gig forcing Layla to handle lead vocals. Unfortunately Layla doesn't know any of the words to the songs and the show is a disaster.
- The band celebrates a successful gig the way they celebrate every gig - by getting drunk. The band's next show is at Aces & Ales, a club owned by Alice Cooper guitarist Keri Kelly, and an over-anxious female groupie and Bree's product placement idea almost ruin the set for them.
- At the band's final Vegas gig, Tuesday is kicked out of the club for being underage. The girls are heckled by their own opening act, a troupe of local comedians, offending most of the band. In the parking lot afterwards, Layla accuses Alicia of being drunk and ruining their set which leads to another fight between the pair.
- The band finally returns to L.A. where Bree has arranged a record label audition for them. Since Monica lives in L.A. she decides to go home and not stay with the other girls. Layla and Tuesday go on a drunken vandalism spree around their hotel, spraypainting graffiti on buildings and cars. Monica arrives the next day and gives them an ultimatum.
- The band's big show at Weber's LA is only two days away. In attendance will be a record label executive who promises to give the girls a record deal if he likes what he hears. Monica arranges for some of her musician friends to work with the band, including Mark Bistany from Puddle of Mudd, while Layla decides to quit the band just one day before the gig, sending Monica into mother mode.
