At the hospital, Richard tells the ER doctor that he offered a mysterious woman a ride back to her apartment when he saw her with a broken-down vehicle. Richard then dies at the hospital from his wounds, leaving it up to Detective Redlinger and her team to track down the mystery woman who lured Richard to his untimely death.

The man who shot Annaijh Monique Rolax turns out to be a hardcore criminal named Jason Ardis, who went by the nickname "Black." He received life in prison. Case Two: On January 5, 2005, construction workers find the body of a young victim, 15-year-old Shawn Powe, who has been shot twice and left in plain sight of a shortcut to school that his classmates frequently take. The killer turns out to be 19-year-old Quentin Cooks, who is sentenced to life in prison.
- On the evening of November 26, 2005, when no one has heard from 53-year-old Candiace "Candy" Person all day, her daughter, Tisha Person, goes to her mother's home to check on her and finds Candiace murdered on the bedroom floor. When the Atlanta homicide detectives arrive on scene, they see that Candiace has possibly been sexually assaulted, and her purse is missing. Detectives soon realize that this is no ordinary murder. This meticulous killer took his time to stalk down Candiace and try to destroy evidence. The homicide detectives work hard and, with the use of DNA evidence, eventually arrest Willie Lee Bryant for this murder. Bryant had dated Person's daughter shortly before the murder, prosecutors said.
