- The L.A. dog walking scene provides a colorful backdrop for the story of Ellie Moore, damaged goods on the run from her latest abusive boyfriend and on the verge of transformation. She's helped along in that process by Betsy Wright, a misanthropic dog-walker in need of help with her business and struggling with her own dark past. The odd relationship between the cranky dog-walker and her unstable new apprentice proves the catalyst for the emotional journey Ellie must undertake. In Betsy, she finds a dark mirror of herself - a lonely, angry, complex woman whose own troubled past proves disturbingly close to her own. And in the dogs, she finds lost pieces of herself as she fumbles with the leash to her own life - struggling to hold on as it pulls her toward a brighter future before her past catches up with her.

However, Dung finds his own way to adapt to life in America by becoming friends with a trio of bubble tea loving Vietnamese guys from work. They show him the ropes, teach him a few dirty words, and help him find his way around America. Dung reveals his secret to them, that he speaks English fluently, and that he knows what his host family really thinks of him. They've only been looking out for their own best interests, with little regard for Dung's. After all, to them, Dung is a FOB, or "Fresh Off the Boat'. What does he know about anything? To everyone's surprise, Dung's secret is revealed, along with a hidden romance for an unexpected member of the Nguyen family. A wedding happens after all, and in doing so, it brings a divided family back together. Dung shows them the error of their ways, and that there is no shame in being a "FOB", or as his friends put it, "Simply FOBulous".

After weeks of rain the field is in barely playable muddy conditions. After three hard fought quarters, the game is knotted at a zero-zero tie going into the game's final fifteen minutes. We witness a cheerful day of harmony quickly destabilize, as Ruby exposes her loved ones quirks and weaknesses, coercing acknowledgment and responsibility of their choices and actions, as well as their effects and repercussions on the whole. Disagreements become personal as family members go into offensive and defensive maneuvers. Hope and devotion are strained and weathered as the Boone's tackle issues of the heart, ranging from relationships to pregnancy, to fear and control. As the day unfolds, Ruby's journey of charity and discover becomes one of acceptance and triumph, as confrontation among the clan brings forth truth and admission, tolerance and forgiveness, and reveals a fresh, new world where pride and trust reside.

- CineForce Films of Los Angeles, CA recently completed production of a Kiteboarding film that was shot on location in Puerto Rico. Inspired by the exciting and rapidly evolving sport of Kiteboarding, CineForce Films approached Kiteboarding guru and professional instructor Paul Menta to host a group of riders for 10-days during filming. This film captures the action of Kiteboarders flying across the blue waters of the Caribbean at 30 mph and launching 40 feet into the air performing stunts, and the personal interviews with the athletes giving an insight into the sport.
