Under Gui Xiang's care, she eventually recovered from depression but later gets kidnapped by unknown assailants - Will Gui Xiang be able to save Xuan Mei and eventually marry her? Will Zhi Jie be able to clear Lan Tian's name? This season will be filled with mind-boggling mysteries, thrilling action scene and exciting storyline.

When he returns back to the mine, Shi Tou is lured into a destructive spiral of gambling by his scheming boss and runs up a huge debt, while his supervisor, Hei Long (Pierre Png) lusts after Ya Zi's beauty and plots to ruin him. When Zhang Tian Ying is apprenticed to an elderly herbalist who passes on to him the fruits of his research, he eventually sets up a highly successful medical firm with his brother. Zhang Guang Da (Terence Cao), Dong'en's uncle, poisons him and his mother in a bid to take over the family business leading to her death and Dong'en's imminent demise.

But he pays with a high price - his daughter loses her legs as a result. Greed is then exemplified by his son, who uses the last wish to wish for three more wishes. In what seems like a never-ending cycle, Yao Zong looks desperately for the next person to take the three wishes away from him.
