With Somu as the union leader and Vicky as the boss there is no stopping these two - until Damodar finds out and decides to put a stop to Vicky being influenced by Somu's middle-class ideas and ideals. Damodar starts a chain of events that get out of control, events that may well see the death of one of the friends at the hands of the other. Will Vicky's and Somu's friendship see them through or will it also be a casualty?

When Sarah is of school-going age, Somiya gets a phone call from a woman named Ruby, passionately asking for Karan's company. When she questions Karan, he readily admits to having an affair with her but promises to not have to do anything with her again. The next day she smells another woman's perfume on Karan's clothes and when confronted, he assaults her. The abuse continues and he forbids her to leave the house. She seeks the help of Niti and her former landlords, and manages to escape. An enraged Karan hires goons, advertises in the newspapers, as well as seeks the active cooperation of his Police Inspector friend, Bhaskar Shetty, and he knows it will not be long before he finds his highly visible, attractive 5'10" wife and daughter.

Jai then decides to give up his criminal ways but Oberoi's consent to the couple's marriage comes to light when Jai is gun down by Oberoi's men which injures and makes him a patient in hospital. Suraj then raise to this occasion to put an end to the entire Oberoi's family and thus the blood shed continues.

Yashpal agrees to meet Suraj but when they reach home they see a seductress inside, wearing Komal's gown and drinking tea in the kitchen. Suraj walks in totally oblivious to the fact that a strange woman is in their home. Komal questions the seductress and she says she shares Komal's husband. Komal is furious and tries to commit suicide but Suraj stops her and repeatedly tries to prove his innocence. It turns out Yashpal set up the whole thing to break up their marriage. Komal leaves her husband with her father. She delivers a baby boy but Yashpal wants to make sure that the one thing that can bring his daughter and Suraj together be eliminated immediately. He hires hit men to kill the baby but Suraj manages to get away with his son. They move to a unknown place and he raises his son with help from the villagers. Suraj later meets Vaijanti (Shilpa Shetty), an eccentric fisher woman who his son sees as a mother and friend. Vaijanti begins to love Suraj and hopes that he feels the same way. Komal, depressed and lonely, spots her son with Suraj. Then begins a bitter custody battle between her and Suraj.
