- In 1942, the allied headquarters in Cairo send to Greece British and Greek officers to organize the bombing of the bridge Gorgopotamos to prevent the transfer of military hardware to North Africa destined for refueling Rommel's troops. The officers come in contact with a group of Greek partisans, and working with men of General Napoleon Zervas (E.D.E.S.), and guerrillas under the command of Aris Velouchiotis (E.L.A.S.) out sabotage played a major role in the evolution war.
