This Is Us was one of those rare shows that captivated people from all demographics and walks of life. It was the kind of show that was talked about in every break room and every office after each weekly installment aired during its hugely successful run. However, Justin Hartley’s own wife, Sofia Pernas, couldn’t stand to watch it. Why?
This Is Us Brought People Together
This Is Us had a successful six-season run from 2016 to 2022. In addition to having a stellar cast, including the likes of Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, Justin Hartley, and more, the story captivated audiences all throughout its time on the air.
Even now, the rewatch value of This Is Us has no limit, as people who followed the show from start to finish still go back and rewatch the series. One of the other things it did was allow Justin Hartley to break out...

The latest Tracker entitled “Lexington” includes Justin Hartley’s real-life love, wife Sofia Pernas. How did this couple meet? Moreover, when did the two fall in love?
Justin Hartley And Sofia Pernas Met On Set Of Young And The Restless
In the latest Tracker episode entitled “Lexington,” there is a familiar guest star. Joining star Justin Hartley is his wife of three years, Sofia Pernas. She is portraying a competitor who has a past with Justin’s character Colter Shaw. This promises to be very steamy and fun. However, this is not the first time they have worked together.
Speaking to People, Pernas revealed that the two first met in 2015 on the set of The Young And The Restless. But, she doesn’t recall when they first met.
When Justin’s in work mode, and I think anyone who’s ever worked with him would say this, he is like a Terminator.

Marcia Gay Harden (The Morning Show) and Skylar Astin (Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist) are a top-notch comedy duo in So Help Me Todd, a drama about a distinguished law partner, Margaret Wright, who hires her black sheep son, disgraced private detective Todd, to be an in-house investigator at her Oregon firm. “They’re going to learn how to work together,” Harden says of the odd couple, who are arguing over his choice of profession when the series begins. The actors spill more. (Credit: Michael Courtney/CBS) What’s the first thing you loved about your character? Skylar Astin: His messiness. Even though he’s starting at the bottom, he has fun with it. He’s constantly pulling stuff out of his jacket like a Mary Poppins. I want to eventually make it like he’s Inspector Gadget. Marcia Gay Harden: Her humor. She thinks she’s right about almost everything.

We haven’t really talked much Emily Owens, M.D. here at Boomtron, one of the many new shows coming to the CW this fall like the way we’ve talked Arrow or Beauty and the Beast, and I’m not quite sure why, but we are going to make some amends starting today by sharing this gallery of images we have from the CW of the Emily Owens, M.D. pilot.

The Secret Circle 1.18 Review - The Battle Lines Have Been Drawn...
Well, thanks for that crazy cliffhanger, The Secret Circle. Now hurry your ass back on our TV screens, pronto.
Tonight's episode of The Secret Circle not only set the stage for the last four episodes of the season, but also labeled the enemy Cassie and company must face along the way. Although, I'm still not sure if Eben and the Witch Hunters are the only foes on the battlefield at this time. We also have the Elders, Dawn and Charles, and John Blackwell all having something planned for The Circle and its' power, but whether if this will all play into the overall endgame for this season is left to be seen. I, for one, believe that the April 19th episode, Crystal, will attempt to tie all of those strings together in a nicely, woven thread, which is why...

It's been nearly a month since we saw Sam's soul shoved back into his body by Death on the midseason finale of Supernatural. The Winchester boys aren't slated to return with new episodes until January 28 (it feels like forever!), but The CW has released promo photos from the upcoming episode, entitled "Like a Virgin". We first heard about this episode in the Supernatural TV Guide cover article, which revealed that the boys would investigate a very peculiar case. Apparently virgin girls are disappearing from a small town and the culprit is a dragon. You almost have to wonder at how big they'll actually go with the whole dragon thing and whether we'll actually see a CGI version of it or not.
From the photos below, we see the boys are back to working together. The question is how much Sam remembers about his time on earth before his soul was...

You just can't keep a good demon down, and in the December 3rd episode of "Supernatural", entitled "Caged Heat", we'll see the return of Rachel Miner as Meg, who's been tormenting the Winchester brothers since way back in the Season 1 episode "Scarecrow", reappearing in both Seasons 2 and 5 (and obviously the current Season 6 as well).
Episode 10 "Caged Heat" Synopsis: (12/3/10 Air Date)
Meg (guest star Rachel Miner) kidnaps Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) and tries to force them to tell her where Crowley (guest star Mark A. Sheppard) is hiding. Sam makes her a deal: They will help her find Crowley if she promises to torture him for information about how to get Sam’s soul back.
Castiel (Misha Collins) joins the fight but finds it difficult to work with Meg.
Robert Singer directed the episode written by Brett Matthews with story by Brett Matthews and Jenny Klein.

A new episode of Fringe will be airing this week on September 30 and Fox has released a few (seriously, just a few) promo photos, along with a synopsis.
Walter Copes With Consequences Of His Choices On An All-new “Fringe” Thursday, September 30, On Fox
The story alternates to the Fringe Team “over here” where they investigate a mystifying case that people are discovered in a trance-like state that ultimately leads to their death. The unlikely suspect: a mysterious box. As Peter and Walter collaborate to study its properties, alternate Olivia presses on and turns up the heat on an unsuspecting Peter. Meanwhile, key information about the future is revealed when Walter and Nina meet at Massive Dynamic for the emotional reading of the last will and testament of William Bell in the all-new “The Box” episode of Fringe airing Thursday, Sept. 30 (9:00-10:00 Pm Et/Pt) on Fox. TheCW is readying the hype machine for Supernatural Season 6, as evidenced by this set of intriguing promo pics from the season 6 premiere “Exile on Main St.” As you can see, Grampy Campbell (Mitch Pileggie) has returned, and the word on the street is that this is not the last we will see of him this season as the boys switch gears and run down their Mother’s bloodline of prolific hunters, a history that has mainly eluded them throughout the five previous seasons of Supernatural.
Season 6 of Supernatural will open a new chapter for the series as the brothers reunite after averting the apocalypse, one of them from beyond the grave, to hunt evil and protect mankind as solitary and anonymous mercenaries. The big question is, who do you fight after you’ve fought the Devil? Prepare to find out.

One of the most anticipated returns of the TV season is Fox’s Fringe. While the show seemingly struggled early in its sophomore season, Fringe devastatingly silenced its critics with a mind bending cross dimensional story line that was as mystifying as it was dramatic as the alternate version of Walter (John Noble), A.K.A “The Secretary,” schemed to require his son who – in our Universe – was just discovering that he had been kidnapped by the alternate dimension version of his biological father. And that, folks, is the easy part. Now Olivia Dunham (Ana Torv) is trapped ‘Over There,’ and when our heroes find out, it’s war.
Earlier this month Fox released a promo for Season 3 of Fringe that suggested some pretty crazy possibilities for the third season. Is Olivia going to discover some virtue to staying in the Alterna-verse? I’d highly doubt it, but maybe they...

As much as I love FlashForward, things aren't looking good for a second season pickup. That means things are naturally looking peachier for V, the biggest competitor of FlashForward. It seems increasingly more obvious that for one to survive, the other must die. As such, I'll be happy if TV's newest alien invasion lasts for another year. Not as happy as I would be for the steadily improving FlashForward, but V is improving a little itself, and could prove to be exciting television once things really get going.

*Sob* This is it, Supernatural fans. The season 5 finale will be airing on May 13 and the CW has released promo photos and a synopsis for the episode. Are they spoilery? In a way. So proceed at your own risk.
So it looks like the boys will be meeting Lucifer face-to-face again. But what I really want to know is, what is Dean doing rocking the hand mojo? Does he get demon or angel powers? And which "beloved character" is killed? Because this show has systematically managed to kill off the majority of recurring characters. Since Padalecki and Ackles are both contracted for next season, I'm thinking either Cas or Bobby bites the dust. Both of those possibilities distress me greatly.
At least Kripke wrote the teleplay and we'll be treated to another "Then" with "Carry On, Wayward Son". Still won't make up for the fact that they may kill Bobby or Cas though.

Fringe's second season has really been getting into the mythology of the series while maintaining the week-to-week theme of a procedural. Episode 2.18 of the series, "The Man from the Other Side," is obviously one of those episodes — you can just tell from the title. The "Other Side," along with "Over There," is a term often used on the show to delineate the alternate universe which has been causing such a big problem for our characters. You know, big problems like shape-shifting soldiers taking on the appearance of Olivia's dead partner and plotting to kill her.
Those soldiers haven't been seen much since "Grey Matters," where they briefly kidnapped Walter. They're led by Thomas Newton (Sebastian Roche), who is also a shapeshifter. The one thing I'm still not sure about them, though, is what exactly they are. We know that they're at least partially robotic — they bleed mercury and can...

There's some pretty cool stuff going on when Fringe hits its last episode of February. "Jacksonville" will be the last episode for a few weeks until Fringe resumes its run after Fox airs the midseason Past Life. I suppose that Fox hasn't considered that erratic scheduling may be the cause for Fringe's relatively low viewership.
But regardless, it'll be going out with a bang with episode 2.14, "Jacksonville." No, that doesn't mean that the episode revolves around star Joshua Jackson. Instead, it means that the gang (Walter, Peter, and Olivia, of course) are going to be taking a trip down Florida way. Why? Because that's where Olivia grew up. And more importantly, it's where she was experimented on with Cortexiophan, a mind-altering drug that is having still-unrealized effects on Olivia (it has do with the alternate dimension). It's sure to be a mythology-laden outing.
Here's the press release for the episode.

Chicago – “Fringe” is one of the best shows that people aren’t watching. The writing is strong, dare I say better than “Lost,” and the cast is even stronger. Like every show, “Fringe” has had some really great and not so great episodes, but overall the series is great, as proven by tonight’s strong installment entitled “August”.
Television Rating: 4.0/5.0
After producing solid ratings since its commercial-free premiere last year on Fox, the network made the choice, not a smart one, to move the series to Thursday night. Everyone knows that Thursday is the toughest night in television. All of the biggest shows are on that night: “CSI”, “Grey’s Anatomy”, “The Mentalist” and “FlashForward”. Ever since the series moved to its new night, it’s been hard to establish an audience, which isn’t too surprising. I can barely make up my mind since all my favorite shows are on Thursday night.

I've got some big news for all my Super friends out there. I'm hearing The CW has decided to package Smallville's upcoming (and highly-anticipated) Justice Society-themed two-parter into a two-hour movie event airing on Feb. 5. The Geoff Johns-penned episodes — titled "Society" and "Legends" and featuring such DC Comics stalwarts as Stargirl, Hawkman, and Dr. Fate — were originally designed to air separately. But, according to Smallville insiders, CW execs felt they could get more mileage out of combining them. I tend do agree. Do you? Sound off in the comments! Oh, and if you thought this scoop was super,...

Does ABC's politically charged reboot of the eighties sci-fi series V have something against President Barack Obama? A number of critics and bloggers have noted what seems to be a critique of the new president's messianic perception in the show's pilot episode, which premiered on Tuesday to blockbuster ratings. Anna and her attending alien armada may truly have Earth's best interest at...
