Sherlock Holmes: [to Watson, re Moriarty] The woman is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma I've had sex with. I would be lying if I said I was the strongest assessor of her motives at this point.

extraordinary television..
Possibly one of the best hours I have ever seen.
The achievements are extraordinary.
Take a show which is ALREADY a worldwide hit and within the context of that hit, create a brand new character that is a clever riff off an existing character.
Make that character a woman and have the talented Natalie Dormer deliver the character.
So at the end of the day you have taken one of the greatest conflicts of all time, in the history of literature, and turned it into one of the greatest love stories of all time.
I suggest that even Abrams or Moffat would have trouble with this one.
And here they did not merely bring back the character (as in a walk-on) but created a story that added new dimensions to both the character and the relationship.
And made the episode so entertaining that even someone who had missed the first Dormer episode would be caught up.
Brilliant. Bloody brilliant.
