Yesterday, editor Javier Virto posted a short supercut on Vimeo that shines a spotlight on some of the iconic sequences in Tarantino’s films which memorably used music. And so, the last year of Michael Scott as manager of the Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin commences. We should all take the time to cherish this season because Michael Scott Is The Office, and once he’s gone, it will never be the same.
The focus of the episode was, as the title states, nepotism. Specifically, for Michael’s nephew Luke Cooper (Evan Peters, whom you might recognize from Kick-Ass earlier this year), who happens to be the world’s worst assistant. We meet Luke as he’s getting the coffee order wrong for a number of employees, including our beloved Darryl. The rest of the episode is split between showing how bad Luke is as an assistant and Pam trying to redeem herself with Jim after negating his current prank on Dwight.
