Glenn Martin DDS (2009)
Very Funny, NOT for kids!
This show is very funny. There are many previous comments that this is one show that should not have a future, especially on nick. I'll agree that this show has NO business airing prior to 11pm, especially on either of the two nick channels. It actually has a regular time slot on 'TheN' network at 11pm on Mondays but I have seen it at other times on the other two networks. Message to everyone with negative comments - Stop being so stiff lipped and loosen up. It is just a simple show with simple plots and very funny delivery. The actors (or voices, at least) do a great job and I hope this show continues. I'm very surprised to read that even a Robot Chicken fan doesn't approve of this show. Now I really can't believe that. Robot Chicken is very, very 'Adult'only or 'Crude', yet it has a huge following and great success on Cartoon network, as well as on DVD. This show isn't as bad as your average episode of that series. I hope that there are some IMDb users that see this series for just what it is, funny, NOT for kids, and just 22 minutes of fun. Besides, since when does a 'Nick at Nite' lineup have a big following from kids? Let's run through some of the past and present shows on the network: Taxi, Who's the Boss, The Nanny, George Lopez, Cheers, Three's Company, Roseanne!!! All both inappropriate and misunderstood by kids. Have I made my point? Do I need to continue? Bottom line, JUST DON'T WATCH GLENN MARTIN DDS IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT!!! There are only about 400 other channels to watch at any given moment.

What an outstanding short lived series!
It seems it was too good to be true! A smart series with a great concept and an outstanding cast and crew. It was short lived but well worth every minute in the 12 episodes. Is it just me or do these great shows seem to be too intelligent for todays audiences? It seems that every time a series starts up that has a great cast, content and plots, they get cut short or fail in the ratings. Why??? I try not to dwell on this but rather enjoy whatever few episodes are sparingly dished out and played for the few of us that really are loyal in the following. I just wish that these type of shows could still be available on DVD for those that wish to continue viewing them. They would probably end up making more money in the long run when all factors are taken into consideration. No continued time slot changes, no sponsors to worry about, no timeshares with other mainstream shows? I really think these type of shows would be even more of a success if they did go on to video rather than fall short and come to a premature conclusion on a network.
