Mazhor (2014)
Bad casting
It's marginally entertaining despite a silly and juvenile plot. Fun for Americans to have a glimpse of Russian humor despite "Lost in Translation" issues. But the quintessential cast of Russians characters is marred by gross mismatching of a tall patrician looks Leningrad Biron actor as the main character's father and blonde beauty as the mother with a swarthy short ethnic actor as their son and expecting anyone to buy it. Not discrimination but glaringly not believable. Diverse casting is fine when offspring are the same race and look like their parents but here it's jarring unless We find our in the plot twist is that our silver spoon was adopted.
In the Dark (2019)
Vulgarity and Vaginas
On this show not being able to see excuses not listening, bad behavior, over the top bad manners and rudeness, lack of accountability, poor impulse control, violent outbursts, drunkenness and animal abuse. But hey if you like vagina jokes and men talking about women's periods, hackneyed cop v "social justice warriors" this train wreck should be tight up your alley.
