Signed, Sealed, Delivered (2013)
Sweet Tear-Jerking Episodes
I'm on episode 5 of the series and I think each one of them have made me cry. Its not a sad show, the episodes are very touching and endearing and funny, so it's a nice mix. The acting is good and it's well written, no fluff or bad language. I already know this will be a series I return to after I finish watching all the episodes.
I would say the show isn't predictable. It has some nice twists, nothing outlandish. The show is a mix of Mystery, Comedy, and Drama. Think Scooby-Doo (no Scooby) meets Murder She Wrote meets Aurora Teagarden. I know that's a lot of meeting, but you'll see. It has it all.
FBI: Most Wanted (2020)
Cliche, Predictable, Cookie-Cutter
The show is okay, but Dick Wolf's shows are starting to be very cookie-cutter. Someone needs to tell him that every black female doesn't have to be lesbian or single or both. Surprise us, give her a family, that's more believable and accurate. FBI agents have families, they're parents, they're multi-faceted. Give them something to live for and fight for. If the writing continues on this way, all you have to do is pick one of his shows and watch it because if you've seen one you've seen them all. Same story, different station. Same character, different actor. Can we have a little variety and realism? Thanks.
Stranger Things (2016)
SEASON 4 DOESNT DISSAPOINT
So far season 4 is off to a good start. Really hope they aren't trying to make Will g@y. It's becoming so cliche. Less than 7% of the population identifies as one of the alphabet people, so it's really unrealistic to see one in every show. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to a lot of twists and turns.
Evil: Exorcism Part 2 (2019)
Familiar Face, Great Pace
Wow! It was great to see Peter Scolari in this episode. Hadn't seen him since he was Michael on Newhart. This episode was a good one because it wasn't predictable and it left just enough intrigue at the end to make me look forward to the next episode with anticipation and not frustration. Overall, the series is the perfect mix of spookiness with each new case and a strong ongoing background story with the feud between Kristen and Leland.
New Amsterdam: Why Not Yesterday (2021)
More Juliet Please
I admit this episode was a little boring only because you have to be deaf, dumb, and blind not to know systemic racism exists in the United States. The U. S. was built on it, but I don't want to watch it on New Amsterdam because it won't change anything. The change that needs to happen occurs off the set, but nice try. Anyway, I watch New Amsterdam to see a medical drama and interesting stories like the one about the character, Juliet.
Greenland (2020)
Another Movie About The World Ending
Predictable. If you've seen one you've seen 'em all. It's interesting to see just how fast society breaks down and people start acting extremely selfish.
Law & Order: Organized Crime (2021)
Welcome Back Elliott
I enjoyed the show! Stabler still got it. I hope him and Olivia get on an even keel before she departs the storyline. Im interested to meet the new characters. L&O is good at character development, so I will stay tuned.
Bridge to Terabithia (2007)
This Movie Tore My Whole Heart Out
I won't spoil it for anyone else, I'll just say, I cried. I laughed too, but I cried for a full 5 mins at one point. Overall, its a really sweet movie.
Secret Obsession (2019)
It's Really Ok. Every film isn't a blockbuster.
It was exactly what I expected it to be. A run of the mill lifetime movie. No nudity. No profanity. Mild violence. I enjoyed it. If this is your type of entertainment, I think you will too. The plot was easy to figure out, so if you're looking for something that will keep you glued to your seat and guessing at every turn, this isn't it.
