Lowlifes (2024)

Awesome horrror thriller with some off-kilt humor

Don't watch the trailer if you really want to experience the twists and turns throughout the movie. This was a really great slasher home invasion style flick it was dark humored, gorey, and never seemed to have a slow moment.

I have to talk about the ending because I actually yelled at the TV wow what a way to end it all. Can't say too much but it did keep me guessing what was happening next but sheesh the end hit like a brick wall to the face but I also love when movies keep you on your toes so after I calmed down I appreciated it more lol.

All in all this was a great horror thriller from tubi or wherever. Would recommend!

Beau Is Afraid (2023)

You won't find a plot here, but that's not necessarily a bad thing

Most of these reviews are a little whack so I thought I'd give my two sense after just watching. If you like tradional narrative driven movies, I'd sit this one out.

If you're looking for a cohesive story line you won't find it here. It's a weird movie the story changes multiple times and nothing seems to make sense in the grand scheme of things. HOWEVER it is pretty entertaining for what it's worth and i was never bored waiting for the next wacky thing to happen. It was kind of a fun movie where the most absurb random things happen one after the other to this random guy so if you're into that kind of thing this wasn't the worst way to kill 3 hours while doing computer work. I will say I eventually had to stop working and only watch because I would look up and have no clue what was happening. Defintiely a "wtf is going on?" Type of movie from start to finish.

Hidden Gem of Horror/Mystery/Thriller Movies

This movie starts off by throwing you right into the story and things escalate from there with an awesome unraveling story surrounding the sisters with a really freaking good twist. This is not one of those two hour buildup slow burn bull crap with 15 minutes of watchable material slapped onto the end. The full runtime is filled with the fast paced story and you get to know the characters throughout which is how I perfer as opposed to unrelenting boring character development upfront with all the action on the backend. Great combination of horror mystery thriller all in one! Truly shocked Netflix was behind this.
