A Wrinkle in Time (2018)
Book vs. movie
Usually I enjoy the book over the movie but not in this case. I found the book did not hold my attention enough to get past chapter 3. The movie held my attention to the end. Of coarse, I love the imagination shown in the wardrobe and set design. The story was easy to follow on a young adult level. The messages/life revelations were all positive.
Parents need to look at the movie trailers more to realize that just because Disney was part of the movie's production companies, this is not a story for children, oh say under 8 or so. It will not hold their attention, of course this is strictly my opinion.
Tully (2018)
This is not a comedy!
Calling this movie a comedy is so far off reality and right up there with calling THE MATIAN, which was great, a comedy which it wasn't.
Good acting but the story line was vague. It leaves you saying "huh" at the end .
Book Club (2018)
Love a good story you could see yourself in.
Loved the movie. It does have thought provoking statements from the 4 main ladies. The retired age group will, perhaps, enjoy the movie because they can relate to so many of the statements.
The 15:17 to Paris (2018)
The best part
I really felt inspired by the words of French President Hollande as he honored all the people who came together to take down the terrorist and prevent loss of life.
