A must see!!!
18 June 2015
"The Unexplored" documentary is a piece of art that is a must to see.

The movie is about group of friends (cavers) that explore unknown underwater caves in the jungle of Yucatan Mexico. One of the most extreme activities - cave diving - is presented in a really direct and raw way. Being explorer myself, there are many things I like in the movie, but the most I like, are: the presentation that real explorations are made always from serious teams of friends; nature of caves and exploration described from a 11 year old boy, cave diver; and of course the silent idea behind all the movie, that exploring of the new areas are in fact exploring of ourselves and of no-existence of the limits.

There are no actors in the movie but real explorers, that give an account of their exploration activities, their attitude. When the movie ends, I start it from the beginning again.

I recommend it to anyone. It is a gem about explorers and exploration. About the vast places on earth that are still virgin and waiting their explorers.

A MUST SEE!!! 10 from 10

one of the greatest movies in the last years!
21 January 2005
The movie is extremely realistic of what happened in Russia in 1989 - 2000 - actually it just shows the top of the iceberg, but it shows enough to imagine what is beneath. "Brigada" is a great story about 4 friends that remains friends in spite of all that happened. May be you can named it the Russian 'Godfather' movie. It is exactly so great. Actors are great performers. Sounds are great. Surroundings and details till the time span shown - 11 years - are true and absolutely realistic. I couldn't find any weak point in all movie. There is a lot of persons in the movie with their own destiny shown but not in a helter-skelter way or heaviness - rather you can feel with all your being the atmosphere in Russia in these years of changes and the Russian's feelings and spirit.

And in the end - the movie is so well done that on many occasions you just wonder - to cry or to laugh. It is for sure one of the best movies I saw in the last years.
