The Big Door Prize (2023)
Rare. Well-written Show
The storyline and writing is wonderful, so rare these days. It's humorous, and thought provoking. It's very creative writing with a of variety characters. The approach to each character arc is well done, you see them going through the emotions of using a machine to influence their happiness. The music is fluid and provides a complete and overall tone. It makes people question their life choices and question their happiness. There's humor with a bit melancholy. It highlights the length people are willing to go to find happiness. Chris O'Dowd really makes the show as a regular guy questioning his life.
Generation Gap (2022)
It's cute!
This is a cute, family friendly game show. Kelly Ripa makes a great host for a family focused game show. It's not Jeopardy or a game show with real substance, but it's fun. Can't we have a fun show without over critiquing? What's more adorable is Kelly bringing her dad on for a singing part. They have a strange way of choosing the final prize, by using a toddler to select the prize. The toddler has the final say, either they choose a new car or a toy that is geared toward the child. It's comical as the show is very comical. Give this show a change, it's light hearted, and fun. It's questions you should know the answers to. So, have fun.
