Why?
28 June 2023
The opening was great.

And that's it. The ending is a spit in the face to Indy and his fans. What a wasted opportunity. Helena was insufferable.

You say this is better than Crystal Skull....how? Where? At least Indy was still a hero in that film, and at least he got his happy ending. The fact that, yet again, the male hero was a broken version of himself who is a miserable drunk is getting very tiresome.

Kathleen Kennedy needs to get her hands off of these franchises because she is permanently tainting them.

Why wouldn't they give us more cameo's? Why not more young Indiana? And ffs, why that damn ending?

So underappreciated

This movie is a gem. If you can get your hands on the Directors Cut, do it! It's brilliant, and you can see what the film was meant to be. I made my own edit with the Directors cut, and I added all the additional Neve Campbell scenes they filmed for the theatrical version.

All in all, I think it's a great look at what the 54 nightclub must have been like. But seriously, get the Directors cut.

I LOVE this movie!
7 February 2019
So I grew up watching this and always enjoyed it. Then, many many years later, I got my hands on it and decided to watch it, expecting it to let me down and be terrible like people say it is. Nope! I totally dig this movie. Howard looks good considering the technology they had back then. The music is actually pretty great - both songs and theme. And you know Lea Thompson looks so bangin in this movie. The big hair. The voice. Rocking in a band. She was perfect. Honestly, its time for people to let go of the hate. This movie has gained such a committed following. It's a great movie. Absurd, but in the best way. Honestly, the restaurant scene is such a highlight! I loved that moment. It goes from being an 80's rom com for the first half, to a full blown monster movie in the second half. It's a fun movie, and doesn't deserve the hate it gets. Howard rocks!!!

New Seasons are so Bad
7 February 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Season 1 had the Rosario death episode - that was a good one. Season 2 started funny, so I gave it a chance. Then, it became so politically correct to the point of insanity. There was one episode with Will and Grace about Will's letter <---- That's what makes a good show! That was such a great storyline. But that brief shiny moment is quickly overshadowed by the writers constant, bitchy need to make everything political, or about racism, sexism, oppression and all that typical crap that they can't help but fill the screens with now.

Such a shame. This show was BRILLIANT back in the day. The first 6 seasons were so hilarious. Especially 4. Now, its become the worst thing - its become predictable. I wish I never watched the new seasons.

Lindsay carried it
7 February 2019
Look, yes it's low budget, but it has a charm to it. I can appreciate the effort that was put into this. May not look like much, but there definitely was. People can be harsh with their judgements, so I will say no, the acting is not terrible, realistically. I mean come on, there are waaay worse movies for bad acting out there. At least their was real ambition behind these actors. Some reviews say the dialogue is bad. I didn't think it was. It was cringy at times, and I wish they didn't say "babe" as much, but it wasn't hard to listen to. Some parts of the movie have really professional looking shots, yet it is balanced out with home-made looking shots - but honestly, watch this movie in black and white, and the quality goes up. It helps make the movie more artsy. I swear, b&w makes everything look better. The music is unique. I get the vibe. But lets get real people, Lindsay was pretty great in this. She held the film together. I really enjoy her acting, and she had some great moments in this (crying scenes in particular). Lindsay held her own, and I thought it was a great role to see her play. So in conclusion, if you're a Lohan fan, I think you'll enjoy it. It's really not as bad as people make it out to be. There's so much worse.
