The Vampire Diaries (2009–2017)
8/10
OK, ill admit its gotten a lot better!
11 September 2009
Warning: Spoilers
when i first saw the pilot, i was unimpressed. i still continued to watch it though, mostly because it was on before supernatural. the first few episodes were slow, but watchable. i must say, after these past 2 episodes, its gotten so much better! i actually want to see what happens next and now Thursday nights on the cw are more enjoyable for me then Monday nights! which is a lot to say since i am a huge OTH & GG fan. at first, Nina Dobrev did not impress me as Elena, but she gets better and better every episode. Paul Wesley does an amazing job as Stefan, and Ian Somerhalder blows me away every episode as Damon. I like how much depth and background each character has, it influences the way they make decisions just like in real life. I also love where there going with Katerina Graham's character Bonnie, with the whole witch thing. this show has a lot of potential, and hopefully the cw doesn't waste it like they did with the beautiful life.

Best Disney Movie since the 90's!
30 August 2009
Warning: Spoilers
This is honestly the best Disney Movie i have seen since the 90's. It wasn't corny and the plot was very good. The ending wasn't lame or stupid, it had a lot of depth. This movie appeals to all ages its not one of those just for the little kids type of movie, because i am older and i loved it. in my opinion this movie was better then the Hannah Montana Movie and there is no reason that that movie was shown in theaters and this one was not. One of the main reasons the movie was so good was because the acting was absolutely brilliant. Selena Gomez (Alex Russo) gives the performance of a lifetime! She was absolutely amazing in this movie. David Henrie (Justin Russo) and Jake T. Austin (Max Russo) were amazing as well. There also was none of that trying to be funny comedy, like a lot of the Disney Channel Shows. I loved how the parents Jerry Russo (David DeLuise) and Maria Canals-Barrera (Theresa Russo) acted like real parents. I loved how this was truly about family, Selena and David had amazing chemistry as brother and sister as well as Jake Austin. It was so believable. The special affects were great! i loved the way they used their magic. Oh and i will also say, this is the first Disney Channel movie to make me cry since Tru Confessions, which is really saying something. Before this movie, i only occasionally watched Wizards of Waverly Place but after this i am planning on watching the new season. If you were a Disney fan in the 90's and you miss those movies like Wish Upon a Star and Susie Q, this movie will live up to your expectations. i give this 10/10. its the best Disney movie of this decade.

Love this Show!
17 August 2009
Warning: Spoilers
i heard of "Supernatural" a few times but i never actually watched it. i just started watching it a few weeks ago and i must say i was hooked. Jared Padalecki (Sam Wincester) and Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester) are great in this show. It kinda reminded of old school "Charmed" mixed with the "X-Files". Whats great about that show is that its also in ways easy to catch up because there's really only two main characters its easy to get into. It has non-stop action and mystery and it just gets you hooked. The acting is great and the characters have so much depth and history. This is a great show and i hope it lasts a lot more seasons. i give it a 9/10.

Degrassi Goes Hollywood (2009 TV Movie)

pretty good but could have been better
16 August 2009
Warning: Spoilers
after all the hype and build up to this movie, i must say i was a little disappointed. i thought the plot of this movie was far-fetched but not bad. i liked how they brought back a lot of the old characters like Craig (Jake Epstein), Paige (Lauren Collins), Ellie (Stacy Farber), and Marco (Adamo Ruggiero). I actually watched this movie twice, the first time i only watched Manny (Cassie Steele) and Jay (Mike Lobel) scenes because in my opinion they were the best part of this film i think they are both great actors and have amazing chemistry and i loved their storyline and everything. Cassie Steele is amazing in this movie especially with the storyline about her professor at Smithdale always cutting her down and emotionally abusing her. As for the rest of the film, it could have been a lot better. I thought Stacy Farber (Ellie) was good. But i didn't like the way her and Craig ended things it kinda left us in the dark same with Paige and Marco we never find out if they made up. There was just was too much Paige in this movie for me but others may feel differently. I was also very confused why Mia (Nina Dobrev) was even in the movie cause i felt like she didn't have any part at all. Overall i thought it was pretty good i loved the way it ended with Manny and Jay. I hope they have at least some part of season 9 of Degrassi. I give it a 7/10.

unbelievably great movie - so so under rated
13 July 2009
Warning: Spoilers
i absolutely loved this movie, i watch it all the time and it never gets old. at first i only decided to watch it because of Sean Faris and Cam Gigandet cause i'm in love with both of them. Cam is such a great villain, and this movie is no exception. i loved the relationship between Max (Evan Peters) and Jake (Faris) it kinda reminded of a Seth Cohen - Ryan Atwood friendship. the plot was actually really good, a lot better than i expected. it has a lot of really good action and i think the fight scenes are so good! Djimon Hounsou was really in good in this movie, the character was perfect for him. I also though Amber Heard and Sean Faris had really good chemistry in the movie. i think this movie is so under rated i thought it was amazing. If you thought you loved Sean Faris before you saw this movie, you will love him even more after you see it. he's so gorgeous and i think he is great actor. this movie is for every type of person, if you like action movies, love stories, drama, family, it has everything so go watch it!

absolutely wonderful movie!
28 June 2009
Warning: Spoilers
i absolutely loved this movie. there was a little bit of everything in it. basically a pageant queen named Anabelle played by Blake Lively suddenly has a heart attack after winning a pageant because of her bulimia. she dies and her body is sent to a mortuary that is supposed to be run by a man named Charlie played by Joe Mantegna. he's too sick to run it, so his son Elvis does under the table because he doesn't have his mortuary license. while Ananbelle is on the table, he feels bad for her so before he takes her picture he kisses her, and the camera accidentally goes off and captures it. he goes to turn it off and she wakes up. Elvis runs to tell his dad and also tells him to say he was the one that was there because Elvis isn't supposed to be practicing. You can pretty much figure out where it goes from there, she ends up going home but keeps dreaming of that night and wants to know what happened. she runs away and stays there for a while until her mother sends the police out looking for her. if you want to her the rest, go watch it, its amazing. i fell in love with Max Minghella's character Elvis, he reminded me a little bit of Noah in "The Notebook". Anabelle and Elvis had amazing chemistry in this movie. i thought the plot of was great and the characters had so much depth. there wasn't a dull moment. Elvis' dad Charlie was by far my favorite character. he did such a wonderful job in this role. i love this movie, i don't know why it isn't more popular, i highly recommend it. i give it a 10/10

Surprisingly Good
26 June 2009
Warning: Spoilers
i had no expectations at all for this show. when i first saw it advertised i thought it was doomed. i actually didn't think it was possible for ABC family to produce another hit like "secret life" or "greek" but i must say i was proved wrong. i was very impressed with the plot, the acting, pretty much everything. i was thrilled to see Cassie Scerbo in this, i think she is a great actress. this show kept me on the edge of my seat and i'm excited to see the episode next week. the drama was good, not cheesy at all like we've seen from ABC family in the past. i feel they could have casted a little better, get a few more well-known names, but thats my only critique. i thought this show was great and i am looking forward to the season. i give it an 9/10

Pretty Good for Disey
26 June 2009
Warning: Spoilers
I actually thought this was one of the better Disney channel movies in a while. it brought me back to those days when Disney movies were actually watchable. the movie actually had some plot and the acting of Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez was very good. i liked how this movie wasn't completely about girls and boys and love, it shows people that there are other things in life. my favorite part was when Selena's character rejected Robert Adamson's character, (you may recognize his name he plays Charles on "Lincoln Heights") i thought this put out a great message to girls everywhere. there were some things that i didn't like though. i thought the movie could have been more suspenseful if it were a little bit longer, i think that all Disney movies being an hour and 45 minutes is getting old, this movie had a lot of potential and i feel that Disney didn't take full advantage of it. another thing i didn't like was the ending. it was ridiculous. it ended abruptly, i thought it could have been 100% better in that department. overall, i thought the acting in this movie was great and i really enjoyed it, i'm hoping that Disney continues to make movies like this one. i highly recommend this movie to those of you who miss the old Disney movies and to Disney channel fans in general. i give it 8/10
