Geri's Game (1997)
Worth Watching
I thought that this short is like Once Upon A Studio and boy was I wrong! The story is VERY original, and straightforward. It has moral values in it, what was the Disney Studio thinking when they were making Once Upon A Studio?
I am very happy for Geri as he has learn his lesson at the end, it was unexpected and unpredictable. I felt relaxed watching this, unlike Once Upon A Studio to say the least!
Finally, the story is very interesting, simple and straightforward. No cringing moments for the audience themselves! I seriously hope that Disney will learn from this short ASAP! A true masterpiece.
Once Upon a Studio (2023)
Not What I Was Hoping
Let me start off with the animation itself, it doesn't look like from their original film at all. Especially Princess Aurora, Prince Philip, Ursula, Cruella Devil and Gaston! Gaston looks VERY cartoony and not manly enough!
Secondly, the princesses should be singing together, they are like the ambassadors for Disney. Speaking of them, I cringe at Belle's singing and it comes to show that Paige O Hara's singing is aging rapidly! But on the other hand, I like how they are spread.
Finally, I was hoping that it would something like Snow In At The House Of Mouse when they would sing something original.
Maleficent (2014)
Atrocious & Disrecpectful
I had always respected Maleficent and the original 1959 film, but making Maleficent into a sympathetic character is like making Lady Tremaine a sympathetic stepmother to her stepdaughter! I know that that they want to give Princess Aurora more screentime, but she's very one dimensional and turning King Stefan into a bad guy is mind-blowing in a horrendous! What was Mary Costa thinking when said that this film is good?
Finally, speaking of Angelina Jolie herself, while she's good and I felt she is totally miscast despite not a huge fan of her. I was very disturbed during the Malaysian premiere!
Joshua: Teenager vs. Superpower (2017)
Propaganda Fake News Documentary!
This documentary is full of fake news, this Vietnamese convict is a puppet of the west. He claimed that his party is peaceful, but it's full of lies!
Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (2002)
Downright Boring!
So, I just watched a scene from this disgusting movie, why does Spirit wants freedom? He strikes me as a typical spoiled rotten brat who chose to rebel with the soldiers, he thinks that he is a human? You gotta be kidding me Spirit!
Secondly, Spirit's braying is darn annoying to the point that I want to jump in the screen and to tell the soldiers to suffocate Spirit will all of their might! Or I could use a burning horse shoe to burn Spirit's neck, downright annoying braying!
