Twin Peaks in my understanding is the best TV series. He is almost the only one of the entire galaxy of this genre that justifies the existence of films in the form of dozens of episodes. If most TV shows demonstrate either an unnecessarily stretched plot, or several small plots for the same variation, then Twin Peaks... He's whole... This is, in principle, another Lynch film, which lasts 23 hours and is divided into 30 episodes for convenience. This is the narration of one story, and so intense that something is constantly happening on the screen, the scenery, the characters and even the world in which the action takes place are changing.

But the most pleasant thing about it is that the film is unusually atmospheric. He immediately captivates with his sound order, when the plot is still being formed. And the most important thing is that you start to believe this picture. The plot is quite simple. There was a murder in the small town of Twin Peaks, and an unusual murder for this town, which attracts the FBI. And an FBI agent appears in the town, who is tired of the hustle and bustle of the city and is just resting in this town. He enjoys simple people, simple food, enjoys savoring coffee brewed in the home kitchen, enjoys walking through the pine forest and enjoys the aroma of ancient trees. And people are certainly not like city people, but that's what he likes about them. And the most amazing thing is that at some point you realize that everything you see on the screen is already a complete brain explosion, that the picture is just surreal, and it's not that something has changed, but that the city of Twin Peaks is really not like other cities. And you can't remember exactly when the scrapping happened. When it became clear that we were watching the confrontation of spirits. And this, I think, is the strongest side of the series.

I lost faith in the results of my work. No matter how many villains you catch, new ones appear. They are like the heads of a Hydra endlessly growing back again and again. But when your loved ones are affected, the villains hold on here. He uses all his skills and abilities to restore justice. The tape was shot in the best traditions of a gangster action movie. Fans of action movies - enjoy!

No one from this motley company even imagines that they will soon have to get acquainted with new exhibits. Among them will be the one that will break the heart of the guard Larry.

It is a joy, gentlemen, that even a deeply vicious genre of family comedy can give rise to a pleasant film. The beginning of the film, however, did not inspire optimism. Again, the father is a loser, divorced from his wife, who is trying to prove to his son that he is not at all such a loser as he seems (especially in comparison with the new fiance of the boy's mother). After such a tie, I was ready to watch the demonstration of family values for the next hour and a half.

I don't know if the director intended it this way, or it turned out by itself, but the propaganda of family values was compactly packed in a few minutes at the end of the film. The main intrigue also neatly fit there. Otherwise, the movie is a fun, bright, elegantly decorated (separate respect for special effects) attraction. As follows from the definition of the attraction, its only purpose is to entertain, and with this mission, "Night at the Museum" copes perfectly. So you can just relax and enjoy the many funny things happening on the screen, without flinching from the unexpected moralizing inherent in family comedies.

So in this case, "family comedy" is not a sentence, it is a promise of unobtrusive humor (no jokes below the belt, which is absolutely atypical for modern Hollywood comedy) and a pleasant pastime.

Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo (2005)

This time, the American gigolo (Rob Schneider) goes to Europe, or rather to Holland, or even more precisely to Amsterdam, which is simply in distress from the invasion of tourists of low culture of everyday life. And wow, his arrival coincides with a series of murders of male prostitutes. In general, the matter is dark and it must be confused, which is what the hero-lover does for the rest of the film, while providing services to Dutch women deprived of affection.

When you see comrade Adam Sandler as a producer, then in principle you can already understand what to expect from the film.

Jokes-about-farts, smehashki-about-poop and other vulgarity are above the roof here.

I'm interested in something else - what do people generally follow when writing such scripts? After all, in order to invent the presentation of awards such as "Golden Boner" or a fake nose in the form of a penis, you need to move your brain convolutions a lot. And where do they get their inspiration from??? Rob Schneider, don't.
