Get Smart (2008)
Much much better then anticipated.
I honestly thought that the best part of this movie would be it's trailers, however I was quite wrong.
I won't go into summarizing the whole movie, instead I will give you a brief review.
This movie was funny, with decent acting and jokes that are actually "above the belt". I am personally tired with "comedies" (if you can call them comedies) that refer to sex in an attempt to be funny. "Get Smart" had none of that, it felt like an actual comedy. If you watched some James Bond movies you will appreciate the humour much more though.
I have not seen the TV Series that people are constantly referring to, and I still thought this movie was hilarious. It is probably the best comedy of past few years. It also has plenty of action to keep things well balanced and entertaining.
If you are tired of movies like "Meet the Spartans" and 'epic movies' then this movie is for you. This movie also has no explicit drug or sex references, which means you will have a great time watching it with your family.
8.5/10 Enjoy.
Hostel (2005)
You either love it or hate it.
I think it is already pretty clear from the tremendous numbers of reviews that this is a pretty gory horror film. I think it is also pretty clear from the ratings that people either give it a 1 or something around 8. I understand both people who hated it, as well as people who enjoyed this movie.
For starters if you the kind of person that likes to turn off the brain before watching a movie and just like to "enjoy the ride" then this movie is probably not for you. If you have a weak stomach this movie is Definitely not for you.
However if you want to see a real shocker, and if you are a big horror fan the you simply must see this movie. I liked this movie for a couple of reasons. First being the fact this movie is so shocking you will remember it for a LONG time regardless if you loved it or hated it. I personally think that the director did a good job since this movie has such a tremendous impact on the viewer. The second thing that I liked about the movie is the idea behind it. This movie is not meant to please the viewer with its cheesy story or a predictable happy ending. This movie is meant to shock you. This movie makes you think about how twisted a human mind can be.
In a nutshell this movie is a "love it" or a "hate it" experience. If you seek some serious shocking horror then I recommend this to you. If you seek something that hasn't been done before and you are a Tarantino fan - I will recommend this to you as well. Whether you will love this movie - or will hate this movie I can guarantee you one thing. You will remember this movie for a very long time.

Meet the Spartans (2008)
Anyone who gave this movie a 2 out of 10 or higher needs to be put in a mental institution.
When my friend told me that he could "hook me up" with some free movie tickets I actually got exited... Boy I wish I knew what was coming. I think that you need to be on some SERIOUS drugs to even sit through the first ten minutes. This movie is beyond bad or awful and it is officially the worst movie I have EVER seen. It seems as though all the budget for the movie was spent to make the trailers. Many people got lured to see this crap only to find out that they had been mentally raped. However what's done is done- the movie is bad and you MUST NOT see it under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. That's why when I came home after watching this crap I first looked at who made this movie so I would preserve my brain from being raped for the future. And I was not surprised when I saw that Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer are the ones responsible. Those two are world class specialists in making #### movies. They are responsible for things like "The Epic movie" as well as the "Date movie" (both are horrid). As of now I can come up with about a thousand things I want to do to Friedberg and Seltzer if I ever get a chance to meet them. None of those things are legal... Point is though - if you see Friedberg or Seltzer ANYWHERE - I really suggest you stay away from it.

Vor (1997)
excellent but sad
If you are looking for a good Friday movie to fill your time this is not what you would want to see. This movie is difficult, if you know what I mean. This movie does not have a specific moral which it tries to bring to the viewer's attention; however this movie is very very touching and this is coming from a guy who has seen hundreds of "touching" movies.
The actors are great, and they give a perfect illusion that you are watching a life story not a movie.
This movie makes you think, think about a lot of different things in life. I would not say it is an easy movie to watch; however this is probably the best "sad" movie I have ever seen in my life.
If you are looking for a good drama this is definitely a movie to see, however if you are a fan of Hollywood blockbusters I suggest you stay away.
