one star for proceeds going to child homelessness
9 September 2023
It's hard to believe that this series is made by the same man who gave us Sex, Lies and videotape, Mosaic and Full circle. It is so bad I only watched 3 episodes in the hope that it might get better but not to be.

It is so amateurish it seems it was made by a bunch of 12 year olds - and that's insulting 12 year olds. Maybe Soderbergh just put his name to it and dropped in on the filming for 10 minutes to see how it was going.

The premise is a digitial Zuckerberg look alike commissions 3 dudes to transport with the use of psychedelics and badly fitting head gear with electrodes to the past to alter the behaviour of key players in the hope that they can alter the future for the better. Unfortunately each episode is about 10 minutes, nothing is really explored nothing is added to the experience of the viewer apart from wasting their time. Who thought up this dog of a project should be banned from making anything else. I give it one star for proceeds going to child homelessness.

Too long to sustain the story

The problem with this series is it should have been half as long - which would have improved it immensely. Too much padding going nowhere that required hanging on to the fast forward button.

Tight suspenseful drama

This is a good tv series spanning 3 episodes which kept it nice and tight with minimal padding . Steve Coogan and supporting cast are excellent. Only gripe is that there are a few too many scenes with Doreen Lawrence making speeches.
