Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi (2022)
More of THIS! (And less of... that)
Powerfull writing, strong bound to the Star Wars we all deserve...
I read somewhere that this series was not looking good, but reading also WHO was involved in this make me watch it with no hesitation!
Thankfully I was right...
There's "filling" the blanks of a story in a good way like in this show, and "killing" the blanks of a story in a... ahmmm... Obi Wan's show way... (sorry for the review of another show but I needed to say it! I know it's not the fault of the actors but I still can't recover from that awfull take)...
Let's keep doing this kind of oldschool Lucasfilms things with Mr Dave Filoni (Jon Favreau is strong in the force to! But I think he is not involved particulary with this one), and less of the other messy Disney's stuff...
I hope this series could have 100 seassons...
"It's like poetry... It rhymes." once said Mr George Lucas... this is the evidence of that... you have to understand the Star Wars lyrics in order to sing them... Tales of the Jedi knows them pretty well...
The Batman (2022)
The definitive new Batman Saga!
Beware DC please do not screw this one! Superb story, well driven characters, incredible acting... the best On screen chemitry between Batman and Gordon...
The third act was a little out of context, it should have ended in the Arkhamn scene...
Bravo! This should be the best Batman opportunity DC have in years to develop a young Batman to his fully potencial...
Loved it! The wat the movie breaths, it has it's own personality...
I wish they will use more Alfred in the next ones (explain a little bit wathever he does in this version), and also a little bit of contex in Bruce's training...
Go see it tiger!
The Sopranos (1999)
To call this a show it's unfair... It's the pertect 86 hour movie!
Simply the best writing, and the best acting... I've seen it five times and it never gets old...
I'm an absolut tv and movie geek, thousands of hours invested in this "lifestyle" and still nothing beats The Sopranos... And nothing will ever beat it...
James Gandolfini steals every second of his screen and non-screen time, makes you wish these guys would still be in the 20th seasson if James would be alive!
Can't wait for The Saints of Newark... Johnny Boy Soprano played by Jon Bernthal OMFG!!
