Teletubbies (1997–2001)
This show is the epitome of innocence
11 December 1998
I watch this show every day with my two year old sister and she loves this. It may seem inane to all of us mainly because we don't fit in the demographics for this show. They don't speak well but neither do the toddlers. They are on the same level as the toddlers. It's only meant for small children. It bothers me to see people trash this show. I guess some people just can't take children's shows with a simple grain of salt and just keep their annoying comments to themselves.

Soldier (I) (1998)

A good slam-bang sci-fi/action flick
28 October 1998
This movie is fueled by Kurt Russell's rock hard performance. He doesn't say very much but he doesn't need to. The one expression on his face actually contributes to decent acting. Jason Scott Lee is also very effective,(and huge!), as Todd's (Russell), nemesis.

The beginning of the movie shows young Todd in training since birth. It's very effective and somewhat disturbing. The result, a 40-year-old soldier with no feelings and only one instinct, to kill.

After being replaced by Caine 607, Todd is dumped on some garbage planet where he befriends the people and learns some human emotions. All the peace is disrupted when Caine and co. land on the planet as part of training. It's up to Todd to defend his new home and show us that he's still got what it takes.
