When the Yoga ladies take over the dojo, the very first pose they all do together is called The Cobra.
The bandana used in the final scene of this episode by Daniel is the same one from the original movie back in 1984.
On Mr. Miyagi's gravestone, the "born" and "died" months are the same as Noriyuki "Pat" Morita's, the actor who played him. Morita was 7 years younger than Miyagi and died 6 years earlier.
Nariyoshi Miyagi's gravestone indicates that he served in the "442nd Regiment" and "received the Medal of Honor". The 442nd Regimental Combat Team was composed almost entirely of second-generation Japanese Americans and is the most decorated regiment in U.S. military history. Twenty-one of its members were awarded the Medal of Honor. Activated in early 1943, the regiment received about one year of training before being sent to the European theater. Mr. Miyagi would have been 17 or 18 when he joined the regiment and 19 or 20 when he earned his Medal. The regiment's motto was "Go For Broke" and was commemorated with a US stamp issued on June 3, 2021.
