Looney Tunes director Chuck Jones . . .

Warning: Spoilers
. . . may have left some video footage of himself behind when he passed away in the 1900s of which this web site is NOT aware (hard as that may be to believe for some!). A case in point is something called A CHUCK JONES TUTORIAL: TRICKS OF THE CARTOON TRADE, to which I've awarded a rating of 8, and which is included as a "Special Feature" on Warner Bros.' 2007 DVD release Looney Tunes Golden Collection, Volume 5, Disc 2 (to which this title sounds the most similar, even IF not identical). In TRICKS, Jones seems to be hanging out with eight of his Old White Guy Geezer Toon Geek Buddies as they reflect upon eight of the Common Threads to Chuck's Cartoon Cornucopia (the way this 13 minute, 23 second piece ends by cutting off film critic Leonard Maltin in the middle of a sentence without so much as a corporate logo or copyright notice indicates that this piece was excised from some longer documentary). My favorite quote from TRICKS comes from Part Seven, labeled "Anthropomorphism." Chuck says, "It's easier to humanize animals than it is to humanize humans, which is why I stick to animals." (It seems like there's probably a "Farmer and His Sheep" joke in there somewhere, but THAT might not be fit to repeat, even if I could see it.)
