Luther “Uncle Luke” Campbell is getting as docuseries as he wanna be. Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders is among the producers behind “Coach Luke,” which chronicles the one-time 2 Live Crew frontman as he became a entrepreneur and the head coach of the Edison Senior High School football team in Miami. Mandon Lovett directs the docuseries, which is exec produced by Smac Entertainment’s Constance Schwartz-Morini, Michael Strahan and FredAnthony Smith; Swirl Films’ Eric Tomosunas and Nikki Byles; and Brian Sher and Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders. No outlet is yet attached.
Campbell, of course, is remembered for the popular late 1980s/early 1990s rap group 2 Live Crew — which managed to even hit the Billboard charts with song titles that Casey Kasem wouldn’t say out loud on his top 40 countdown. But 2 Live Crew’s lasting impact was its First Amendment fights, via Campbell and the group’s obscenity trials and Supreme Court parody cases.

Peacock has shared the first look at its new upcoming comedy series “Killing It,” streaming this April.
Created by “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” producers Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici, “Killing It” stars Craig Robinson as Craig, a man who competes in a state-sponsored python hunt in his quest to achieve the American Dream. The series co-stars Stephanie Nogueras as Craig’s ex-wife Camille, Jet Miller as his pre-teen daughter Vanessa and Rell Battle as his younger brother Isaiah. Claudia O’Doherty, Scott Macarthur and Wyatt Walter round out the cast.
“We love all the ambitious, challenging, thematically-rich series that populate the current peak-tv landscape,” said Goor in a statement. “We also love jokes. So, we tried to make a show that could deliver both. We wanted ‘Killing It’ to explore America’s quasi-religious obsession with entrepreneurship and wealth, and we also wanted it to be funny. Really, really funny. Plus, we wanted it to have big snakes.

Legends of Tomorrow has tapped Scrubs alum Donald Faison for a rather mysterious role: The actor will appear in the Season 7 finale (and possibly even Season 8, if the CW drama is renewed) as an unnamed character who admires the Legends, EW.com reports.
Faison’s character is “an unauthorized time traveler with high-profile aspirations,” who is “looking for a boost that only fame, fortune, and glory can provide,” per the official description. “But the big question is whether his respect for the team is going to be able to help the Legends out of hot water or get them into hotter water!

A genuine jaw-dropper on multiple levels, Coke Daniels’ “Karen” is a misbegotten thriller about a woman named Karen who actually is a Karen, as defined culturally by her entitlement and racism. Adding to the oddly literal vibe is the fact that she’s played by Taryn Manning, an actress who has weathered accusations of Karen-ism in real life. But perhaps we should just allow the movie’s dialogue to speak for itself:
“We have a white entitled neighbor named Karen? Oh my goodness, this sounds like something straight out of ‘SNL.'”
“No, it’s more like ‘Black Mirror.'”
Indeed, viewers will be continually pulled between disbelieving laughter and stupefied confusion, making this by far the most trenchant exchange in the whole film.
When our heroes Imani and Malik move into their new suburban Atlanta home, Malik muses, “Who would have thought, us living in a white neighborhood?” This is actually a reasonable sentiment,...

Vincent Kartheiser was the subject of multiple investigations for his behavior on the set of Season 3 of the HBO Max series “Titans,” Variety has confirmed.
Kartheiser was cast as the villain Jonathan Crane, a.k.a Scarecrow, in the third season of the DC superhero show earlier this year. According to an individual with knowledge of the situation, Kartheiser was first the subject of a complaint for what was described as making inappropriate comments onset. Wbtv’s Labor Relations department investigated and found that his actions did not warrant being fired from the show but did warrant corrective action.
A second complaint was made some time later, which led Wbtv to assign a representative to keep an eye on activities on the set. Due to Covid protocols, interviews were conducted virtually by the Burbank-based investigators.
Reps for Wbtv declined to comment.
“Vincent Kartheiser vehemently denies the allegations,” a spokesperson for the actor said.

Skydance Interactive’s often overlooked addition to Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead universe has been quietly released on a new platform.
A port of the original Steam version (compatible with Oculus) for PlayStation Vr, Saints & Sinners debuted to almost universal critical praise earlier this year, though failed to make headlines due to the continued niche nature of virtual reality technology. For fans of the post-apocalyptic franchise still hungry for more adventures in Kirkman’s universe following the comic series’ conclusion (as well as the TV adaptation’s continued hiatus) though, Saints & Sinners is undoubtedly a worthy substitute.
Set in New Orleans, players will need to “fight, sneak, scavenge, and survive” in a city that’s not only populated by the undead horde but hostile factions eager to rid your person of any weapons and supplies, and not through mutual trade.
Similarly to Telltale’s beloved story-driven spinoff,...

We’re already all in for Freeform‘s Motherland: Fort Salem, a TV show set in an alternate world in which witches have been fighting for the United States for 300 years. The network has ordered the speculative fiction show to series.
The first (and hopefully not only) season of Motherland: Fort Salem will be 10 episodes, with Eliot Laurence (Claws) acting as creator and showrunner. In this world, witches ended their notorious persecution by striking a deal with the U.S. government: if the persecutions stop, witches will serve as a U.S. military force. Here’s hoping the show deals with that particular theme critically. The series will be executive produced by Laurence, Kevin Messick, Will Ferrell, and Adam McKay.
