- Jane and Lisbon travel to Beirut where they must work with Jane's familiar adversary, Erica Flynn, who agrees to help the FBI apprehend her boyfriend, a courier for terrorist organizations, in exchange for amnesty for her past crimes.
- The CIA asks the FBI to accept Jane's jail-escaped 'ex' Erica Flynn"s condition to help retrieve from her Slowak lover Jan Nemic, a Russian mob-trained slick arms and other contraband dealer for terrorists, a fortune in counterfeiter-priceless passport chips, in exchange for a pardon. So Patrick accepts to meet them in Nemic's Beirut home, volunteering as stunt memory courier for an unknown crime deal. Lisbon, his backup under an alias, is jealous of Erica even before being turned in by her to win Nemic's confidence. Cho poses as Jane to entrap the US party of the deal, but that goes utterly wrong. As Patrick expected, Erica planned to cheat on everyone, even him.—KGF Vissers
- The smuggler of fake passport chips Jan Nemic is connected to terrorist groups and wanted by the FBI. His girlfriend Erica Flynn contacts the FBI to exchange Nemic by her return to USA with reduced time in prison. She requests Patrick Jane to memorize 81 numbers for Nemic to give to his contacts and lure Nemic. Lisbon goes with Patrick to Beirut posing as his girlfriend. Patrick is hired by Nemic and gives the numbers to Cho. But they need to change the plan when an incident happens.—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
