Everyone begins to deal with Will's death. Alicia is in denial and can only wonder what he meant to tell her in an interrupted telephone message he left just before his death. She asks the judge who has no idea why he might have been calling. The ASA's assistant tells her Will was quite angry about someone stealing one of his clients. At LG Diane delivers the news of Will's death and David Lee begins phoning clients to reassure them. Elsewhere, Kalinda tries to figure out just what happened in the courtroom and who might have fired the fatal bullet, Will's client or the police who were trying to subdue the gunman. She also visits the gunman with a message.
