Unused footage of Carrie Fisher shot for Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015) was incorporated by digitally removing the background and superimposing it elsewhere. C-3PO also appears in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016), Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) and most of the animated series including Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) and Star Wars: Rebels (2014).
