From Stone Town to Endallah and the Kilimanjaro area: a very interesting journey. I enjoyed very much the reportings about some new activities in Tanzania: the encounter with Sophie Agustino who is promoting a trail around the Kilimanjaro mountain: visits of the forests, waterfalls and agricultural activities: homestay accomodation.
In Arusha Jérôme meets Valentine Nyssens: support of the schooling of girls (making of washable sanitary napkins).
Later the recycling of plastics with Edgar Tarimo: plastic wastes can be transformed into beams for house building.
Then the reporting about the College of African Wildlife management in Mweka: tourism and wildlife care are were important in Tanzania.
I enjoyed also very Zanzibar: the stay in Stone Town with Cédrick Mottequin and his wife Chammer Salum: the discovery of the old town, the stronghold and of course the beaches (the women breding sponges). Then the discovery of Dar-Es-Salaam with Mussa Karibube, a street vendor , Adar an important shoe trader or Nandy , the singer and businesswoman.
Later we follow Jérôme in the Serengeti, with Semvua Salehe, his guide Jérôme sees the Ngorongoro crater, : the Masai giraffe, the lions near the river, the elephants. The zebras and gnus have migrated from the Masai Mara to the Serengeti. Also I enjoyed the moment with the Park rangers who are fighting against poachers (using airplanes, motorcycles or car).
Also we can see nice pictures taken from a hot air balloon. And the last stop. In Endallah with Tandau Bayet a village of 7.000 inhabitants (iraqw ethnical group): agricultural activities, playing soccer with the pupils, the preparation of the ugari .
I enjoyed all these beautiful landscapes (the flight over the Unguja Island, the Serengeti, the Kilimanjaro area (with meeting of Simon Peter Mtuy , a guide) or the streets of Dar-Es-Salaam.
