If anything this is rarer than Johnson Over Jordan with which it was screened at the National Film Theatre. It is, as far as anyone knows, the only one of six 30 minute episodes that survives and one can only hope it will be made available in some form some time soon. J. B. Priestly was clearly fascinated with television - which in 1955 was still relatively new in England - and worked long and hard to perfect a format that was peculiar to television and would not work in any other medium. He began by selecting four actors, Frances Rowe, Natasha Parry, Clive Morton and John Stratton, who would, with Priestly himself, appear in all six episodes in which they would represent virtually every type of person one was likely to encounter because, in short, the series was what it said on the tin. This surviving thirty minutes gives the full flavour and makes us regret the loss of the other five.
