Relativity Media has pulled the scheduled October release of the Kristen Wiig-Zach Galifianakis comedy “Masterminds” and moved it to an unspecified date in 2015. The fate of releases like “Masterminds” and the Halle Berry thriller “Kidnap” have been up in the air since the studio filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on July 30. “Relativity Studios has moved ‘Masterminds’ from its scheduled October 9 release date, and we expect to announce a new 2015 release date shortly,” the company said in a statement to TheWrap. How are you holding up, Originals fans? Monday’s episode was kind of a biggie… for so many reasons.
Not only did we lose Aiden — one half of the elusive #JaidenRainKiss — but Klaus, who was framed for Aiden’s murder, is now down for the count, thanks to his siblings. And that’s to say nothing of Dahlia, whose presence in the Big Easy continues to tug at the very fabric of the Mikaelson family.

With its first winter finale, The CW’s The Flash “went there” on multiple occasions, including a final wrinkle that certainly zagged when I thought they would zig.
Almost right off the bat, the episode introduced us (as well as a few unlucky guards) to “The Man in the Yellow Suit,” whom from here on we’ll simply dub Reverse-Flash. When Barry and Joe hear of the eyewitness’ account, they realize they’re dealing with the same man who killed Nora, as well as gave Joe a spook a few weeks back.
Barry gets an up-close look at Reverse-Flash himself...

Heads up: Stop reading now if you haven’t watched Monday’s episode of The Originals. It’s about to get real spoilery up in here.
Just in time for Christmas, Monday’s Originals midseason finale gifted fans with more twists than they could shake a white oak stake at. But for now, let’s focus on the biggest twist of all…
Was it Elijah telling Hayley to marry Jackson, then making sweet supernatural love to her atop a fine antique table? Close, but no.
Was it Klaus turning Esther into a freakin’ vampire? Getting warmer!

After her less-than-pretty first interaction with Sam and Dean, Supernatural‘s new witch, Rowena, isn’t itching to get close to the hunters again.
“I like to keep my healthy distance, if possible,” her portrayer Ruth Connell says with a laugh.
That might be easier said than done now that Rowena has been captured by one of the duo’s biggest frenemies, Crowley, who also happens to be her son!
Needless to say, Tuesday’s episode (The CW, 9/8c) is going to feature one “complicated” reconciliation, with mother and child very much “cut from the same cloth,” the actress previews below.

If you’ve seen The Expendables 2, you’ve noticed that Jean-Claude Van Damme was part of that cast that included the biggest action star names in the world, such as Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li, Jason Statham and the legendary Chuck Norris. In the film, Van Damme plays a character named “Jean Vilain” – the lead villain in the film – and this was the fourth time Van Damme played a villain role during his acting career. The kind of actor who can change the skin of the macho man type of roles he usually plays.

Diane Haithman is contributing to Deadline’s TV coverage. At today’s TCA panel on Showtime‘s Homeland, co-creator and executive producer Howard Gordon was asked about another on-again, off-again project: Whether there is still a chance of a 24 movie. He says yes — possibly. “My understanding of that is, having gone quiet in a way that I didn’t think boded well for that, there’s been some stirrings recently, so I think it’s something everyone’s gunning for,” said Gordon, also an executive producer of 24. “As far as whether my work on [Homeland] will impede that — not at all. There’s a script that’s been written, and I think the issues now are more about the director’s schedule and Kiefer’s [Sutherland] schedule.” Related: Intrigue Behind Stopping The Ticking Clock On ’24′ Movie After the panel, which also included executive producer Alex Gansa and series stars Claire Danes, Damian Lewis and Morena Baccarin,...

The "Jerry Maguire" Oscar winner makes a rare television appearance Sunday, April 22, in ABC's fact-inspired new Hallmark Hall of Fame drama "Firelight."
In playing Dwayne "DJ" Johnson, a counselor at a correctional facility for young women, Gooding is teamed with a number of actresses just starting to make names for themselves ... a situation he says he knew how to handle from his experiences with such stars as Laurence Fishburne (in "Boyz N the Hood"), Dustin Hoffman ("Outbreak") and "Jerry Maguire" himself, Tom Cruise.
"They are real artists, and they allow you to create without stifling your creativity," Gooding tells Zap2it. "That was the main lesson I took from them. Making 'Outbreak' with Dustin and Morgan Freeman and Kevin Spacey, we really kind of sang when we were on the set together. It...

Tonight on The Good Wife: Alicia Faces a Ticking Clock
The Good Wife has a few episodes a season where they are faced with a strict deadline and this week is one of those cases. This deadline involves getting a stay of execution for a convicted murderer who might have vital information that will stop another client from being found guilty. This is a complicated case and Alicia (Julianna Margulies) must put her conscience aside to be successful in this attempt. Warning light spoilers ahead.
Alicia is not the same lawyer/person that she was back in season one, and she has developed a barrier between what she sometimes has to do for a client and her conscience. This isn't to say that she will happily do anything to win, but it doesn't seem to be as hard for her to do certain things as it might have been in the past.

She stars in an action movie. We asked her smart questions.
Danielle Nicolet, otherwise known as "Reese" from Stargate: Sg-1, has won Emmy awards for being funny on The Starter Wife, and watched the downfall of Cuba Gooding Jr.'s career in the sci-fi thriller Ticking Clock. Now she's starring in the video game straight-to-tv/DVD adaptation of video game Red Faction: Origins. In it, she plays toughy Tess DeLaVega and - get this - Robert Patrick is in it. We love him!
Nicolet as Replicator Reese on "Stargate"
Nicolet does get recognized for playing an evil bitch on Stargate, mostly by angry Stargate nerds who will approach her in the supermarket to tell her just how much they hate her.
Tess DeLaVega, Danielle's character, is part of an intricate back story to the Red Faction video game series.
"In short, it's basically Deadwood on Mars," she says of the plot.

One of the signature formulas for '80s comedies was the whole "Get everything fixed before mom and dad get back!" gag. That plot was the basic spine for "Risky Business," "Weird Science," "Ferris Bueller," "Adventures in Babysitting," and seemed to peter out around the time of "Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead."
Looks like it's making a comeback with the new throwback comedy "Fun Size," which also follows the one-crazy-night trend of "Superbad" but combines it with the awesomeness of Halloween. There hasn't been a truly great Halloween movie since, well, "Halloween."
According to Bloody Disgusting, the night in question revolves around a girl named Wren and her little bro Albert, who sneak off to a party. "The night turns to s**t when Albert goes missing and it becomes a race to find him before ol' mom finds out." Ticking clock, ticking clock!

Standing in line at the grocery store yesterday (following proper grocery story etiquette), I noticed among the Redbox selections was a movie called Ticking Clock, starring Cuba Gooding, Jr. And I thought, "That's where he's been!"
But when I returned home and checked iMDB, I learned that Ticking Clock was only a tiny fraction of the truth. In fact, Cuba Gooding, Jr. is probably one of the most prolific actors in Hollywood right now. The difference between Gooding and Nic Cage, however, is that, while Cage continues to release moves on 3,000 screens, Cuba Gooding, Jr. has become something of the King of Redbox.
Since 2007, Cuba Gooding, Jr. has made 10 movies. You've probably never heard of a single one of them. I haven't, even though along the way his co-stars have included Harvey Keitel, Val Kilmer, Christian Slater, Taryn Manning, Henry Rollins, Jason London, Lance Reddick, Ally Sheedy, Nicki Blonsky, and Ray Liotta,...

A look at what's new on DVD today:
"Bitter Feast"
Directed by Joe Maggio
Released by Mpi Home Video
When a food critic ("Humpday"'s Justin Leonard) takes a butcher knife to the restaurant of a celebrity chef (James LeGros), the chef plots the ultimate revenge in this gory satirical thriller from director Joe Maggio. (My review from the Los Angeles Film Festival is here.)
"Case 39"
Directed by Christian Alvart
Released by Paramount
2010 is probably a year best forgotten by Renee Zellweger, who not only appeared in the execrable "My Own Love Song," which went straight to Netflix, but also this thriller that was filmed in 2006, but didn't see a release until last fall. Zellweger stars as a social worker whose latest case involving a child (Jodelle Ferland) that she believes is a victim of abuse leads to something far more terrifying. Bradley Cooper and Ian McShane co-star.
