Blue Bloods has been a consistent ratings earner for CBS since its premiere in 2010. Shows about law enforcement have a long history of attracting viewers. With TV veteran Tom Selleck heading the cast, Blue Bloods seemed destined to become a smash. According to star Bridget Moynahan, the cast also bonded right from the very first day of filming Blue Bloods. Here’s how:

The show centers around New York City Police Commissioner Frank Reagan (Selleck) and his family. This includes not only his own father, retired Commissioner Henry Reagan (Broadway legend Len Cariou), but also his children, Detective Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg), Assistant District Attorney Erin Reagan (Moynahan), and Sergeant Jamie Reagan (Will Estes). These five are the only main actors and characters to appear every season.

Today was supposed to be a big day for Silent Hill and Hideo Kojima fans, at least those who believe an upcoming PS5 game called Abandoned is secretly a new entry in the horror series from the creator of Metal Gear and Death Stranding. But after a week of teasing the release of a new “trailers app” meant to reveal more of the indie title at the center of gaming’s latest conspiracy theory, Blue Box Game Studios’ enigmatic founder Hasan Kahraman released a video to announce the app and reveal had been delayed to August.
Did this quiet the fans who had spent more than a week speculating, deciphering “clues,” uncovering weird coincidences, and hounding the Blue Box Twitter handle for answers? If you think the answer is yes, you clearly don’t know the internet very well.
But let me rewind. If you’ve not been keeping up...

As someone who really dislikes cliffhangers, Star Trek: Discovery Season 3 Episode 12 kind of burns my butt as it's really The Empire Strikes Back-esque second act to a Three-part finale.
It's well-written, well-paced, and even manages to pull a few surprises out of the proverbial hat, or -- more accurately, in this case -- the Dot-23 repair drones.
But it comes in hot in the immediate aftermath of Osyraa's pirate takeover of Discovery and leaves us with Osyraa still in command; Saru, Culber, and Adira still in the nebula with Su'Kal; and Discovery without its navigator, thus unable to jump back for a rescue.
Understandably, serialized programming can't just drop a three-hour finale into the mix but, in the name of all that strange and new, dangling real resolution for three weeks is cruel.
But, despite my grousing, I have to admit that, like Empire, it's a rollicking good piece of work.

With the “Elseworlds” crossover now behind us and winter hiatus almost at its end, the time will soon come for Supergirl to resume business as usual. If you’ll remember, “Bunker Hill” saw Agent Liberty publicly unmasked as Ben Lockwood and incarcerated, yet he’s somehow emerged from the situation a hero. And if that weren’t enough, the Girl of Steel has been fired from the Deo because she won’t reveal her secret identity.
From the look of it, the Lockwood situation will take a backseat for the time being. Well, at least for the midseason premiere, that is. The reason I say that’s because all promo material for the appropriately titled “Suspicious Minds” deals with Kara Zor-El now having a target of sorts on her back.
In fact, the latest exhibit comes in the form of a new photo gallery, which can be viewed below. There’s nothing too spoiler-ish here,...

In the midst of all the commotion surrounding the “Elseworlds” crossover – not to mention the announcement of 2019’s “Crisis on Infinite Earths” – trailers for individual DC series became overshadowed. Fortunately, it didn’t take The CW very long to release them online. And if we’re to learn anything from Supergirl‘s midseason premiere teaser, it’s that the final moments witnessed in “Bunker Hill” will have lasting ramifications.
To briefly reiterate, Agent Liberty has been unmasked as Ben Lockwood and sent to prison for the time being, yet has somehow emerged from the situation as a hero in the eyes of the public. On the flip side, Kara’s had pressure applied to her by the Deo to reveal her secret identity, which is something she refuses to do. As such, the agency has severed ties with her.
